  1. nope. i wouldn't wish that on anyone.
  2. i tagged you so you could play too. jump in!
  3. i was gonna add a limp pe... nevermind.
  4. this really helps. the only stories i've heard from my buddies,(single guys) make me cringe. lol
  5. false advertisement, if you ask me. the last thing i'd wanna see laying on the floor is padded granny panties.
  6. thanks for the input. i really hope they can stay on the base. we lived off post in panama for 6 months, and it sucked. much better/easier once we got housing. i guess it's her age that i'm mostly worried about. my son was 2 when we lived overseas. always with me. my daughter is 12, and will be over there for 2 years. i have no clue what might happen to a 12 year old girl in a foreign country. well, yeah, i do. and that's what scares me. not that her dad and stepmom won't take great care of her. i just worry. this is such a bizarre (to me) situation.
  7. i don't even have a vcr to play it on anymore. i'll have to drag out the pics and scan them. i don't think my son has ever even seen them. it was a loooooong time ago.
  8. would she think it was weird for me to email her? and........i tagged you in a note on FB
  9. i have home video of a monkey assaulting my head. i was feeding him crackers, dropped one, and he reached out and grabbed the barrette in my hair. was holding on for dear life. thank god there was a chain link fence seperating us. i have a picture of a monkey trying to steal my son's pacifier. almost tipped his stroller over. i HATE monkeys.
  10. army. my parents did a year in the philipines...30 years ago. they said the same about the trenches. and apparently there were monkey problems. i had monkey issues when we lived in panama. someone should make a spray.
  11. my exhusband called last night and told me he got orders to korea. our daughter is over the moon about getting to go with him. i'm with holding my excitement until i have more information on what the base is like and how safe it is, from a family perspective. i know a few folks who went, unaccompanied, and they had a great time. but their experiences aren't really helpful in making me feel better about my 12 year old daughter going. know what i mean? anything you'd like to share would be appreciated.
  12. mother's. and........stripper juice. i know.
  13. be consistant. whatever method you choose to deal with his outbursts, stick to it. children will get away with exactly as much as you allow them to. you decide how much you're willing to put up with. it does get better, hun. at 7, i wanted to throw my middle child away. he's 16 now, and an absolute joy to me!!!
  14. i was not implying ignorance on your part for not answering the subsequent questions. the fact that you called the census worker ignorant for not being willing to guess the race of every member of your household by glimpsing at a few members is what i consider to be an ignorant move on your part. and as far as me answering all the questions? yep, i sure did. does it show my ignorance? i prefer to think it shows my ability to read and follow directions. think whatever you want.
  15. damn. i keep forgettin you're knocked up.
  16. oh.dear.god. not the green smoothie!!!!!
  17. that intersection is already a nightmare. also, i miss the turkey.
  18. it's about to get a whole lot better.............
  19. two words. juice. jacket.
