There are four different safe ride companies here in Cobb that I can think of, off the top of my head. 10 bucks plus a dollar a mile....gets you and your vehicle home, safe and sound. People just refuse to do the right thing.

We're actually running pretty slow for an average run if the mill Tuesday night. 1 overturned on interstate north parkway 1 burned up on Hawthorne 2 crashed out on windy hill at benson poole 1 over the guardrail on 75S at 285 Heading out now to 285E at the river. Not sure if its 1 or 2. And we are the only truck running in Cobb Zone 3 tonight. Actually got the chance to go by the house for a bit to eat a sammich and change into some warmer clothes. I feel like a whole new person now!!!

I made the mistake of going in that little store there tonight for a coke and some chips while the guys were trying to find the VIN on the minivan. I got looked at like I had three heads...or a for sale sign on my ass. So.damn.icky.

I thought about you earlier. The. Minivan that burnt slap up was at Hawthorne and Roswell. Smyrna Five Points!!!!

Ps. The ramp to 285 from 75 south is shut down while we haul one back up over the guardrail.

Thanks darlin. Three extracted, two packaged and transported. Driver on his way to jail, and what's left of the BMW is loaded for us to take back to the impound lot. I'd really rather work roadblocks tonight!!!!

First call of tonight's shift is for an overturned vehicle, in a tree. And of course, the driver has failed a field sobriety test. While I'm happy that we have something to do tonight, I'd rather be snatching drivable cars from standard DUIs that don't suck up thousands of dollars in county support.

There was a huge battle between her parents and husband. She wasn't brain dead though. And removing the feeding tube cause her to ultimately starve to death. Horrible case.

My thoughts went there, instantly. I'm currently trying to convince my husband to revoke his DNR. I promise not to leave him on support, but damn, can I get a day or two to process the situation?!?

You cannot 'take your married name' at the wedding. You have to go to the social security office, with your marriage certificate/license, and apply for a name change. You can take the social security application to the DDS to change your name on your drivers license, along with your marriage certificate/license, if you don't want to wait until your new social security card comes in the mail. Perhaps, out of courtesy, the media should have mentioned her married name.... But, it wasn't her legal name yet.

Because everyone had so much time to get used to her marred name???

my previous plans to attend the possum drop have fallen apart. i'll spend the night riding in the wrecker and hooking up DUIs and related smashed vehicles. with Smyrna's new policy of letting dumbasses buy insurance on the side of the road, the impound business has taken quite a hit. nights like tonight should hopefully make up for the loss in our revenue. we're on call from 6pm til 6am, so tomorrow i plan on catching up on sleep!!!
