    Walmart sells the equivalent of tegaderm. and we finally got some meds after Cletus going all day without anything for pain management. I should be able to shower him this evening, and am looking forward to him sleeping through the night.

    magnets. they work wonders. turn the tv off, rub the screen with a magnet...when you turn it back on...no glare whatsoever! it's like magic.

    my sainted mother arrived yesterday evening and has done the laundry, grocery shopped, and planned meals for the whole week. she is also tasked with babysitting doodle, who loves to pounce on daddy while he is lying in the recliner. I'll be holed up in my office all weekend, I expect. lots of work to be made up, and it's end of month.

    So its normal? Seems so odd to come home with so many tubes and wires.

    He came home with his epidural still in. Freaks me the hell out. He's got a fanny pack with a med pump in it, and a button to push for pain. I'm supposed to monitor this and remove the epi catheter myself on Monday. Yeah, freaked out.

    And all the kings men have managed to put Cletus together again. He's come through surgery just fine, and I am anxiously waiting to see him I'm the recovery room. Thanks to all who have sent messages here, and on Facebook. We really do appreciate the love!

    thanks. we have preop at 8am tomorrow morning, surgery on Friday afternoon. my mom should be here tomorrow evening to help me with housework and appointments so I can work all week next week.

    shane was supposed to be killed by carl. the tv series is waaaaay off base with that plot. also......someone should be getting 'married' and then there's the whole prison thing. we'll see how far into left field the series goes in february. i may quit watching.
