please don't think that I assumed your reaction was knee jerk. I simply meant that I need to know more about this before I have an emotional reaction to it. I haven't read whether or not the teacher was white or black. I have no idea if the hurtful words were intentional.

apparently, these same children were learning about slavery in the US at the time this math teacher sent home this work. is it racist to educate our children about slavery?

call the court house and ask them what the fines are for 'driving too fast for conditions' and 'failure to maintain lane'. also ask how many points each of those are assigned. then ask how many points he's allowed as a first year driver. then call your insurance company and ask them how much your insurance would have gone up if the accident had been reported, and tickets issued. then hand your son the bill for the tow and the collision center. a spanking doesn't even come close.

Molasses is boiled during its making. I suppose if you were doing regular raw instead of vegan raw you could use honey. Vegan raw seems like it would be a huge challenge. I'm doing good to not eat out of a box or a can. Forget not being able to cook my food or microwave my frozen veggies.

Also, molasses is cooked. This makes me rethink the rules of raw foods as they're thought of and marketed in todays world.

Those energy bars look pretty good. Wouldn't work for me as I have a nut allergy, but still a great recipe. I have to wonder though, if honey is considered an animal product.
