So are you saying that as long as you aren't "selling" yourself as a Christian, it's ok to make hateful statements? I am just asking. For me, it doesn't matter who or what you are, hateful is hateful and if one thinks it's not ok for one person to be hateful, how can they say it is ok for another person?

While I don't know the man, and have no feelings about him or Falwell either way, I will say this. The basic theme I'm gathering from most of these posts is that basically most of you posting find Falwell and Robertson to be hateful people, yet you have no problem stating your obvious hate for them. So it's ok for you to hate, but not them??? Pot meet kettle. The way I see it, and this is my opinion, we will all have to answer for all of our crap in the end, and none of us is perfect and without crap. Fortunately, I don't believe I will have to answer to any man on this bass ackwards plan

Has anybody heard anything about any accidents or anything in Dallas this morning near the old courthouse? Traffic is backed up to Old Cartersville on 61 N.

Same here. I could hear the bus coming, but not because of the engine, it was all the kids screaming excitedly about seeing the blimp. My kids just about tripped over their own feet running home to tell me about it (though I had seen it right before the bus pulled up, LOL).

We had a problem with Indian Meal moths a few weeks ago. They came in via a bag of organic buckwheat pancake mix from Kroger. We just didn't know it until we got back from vacation and opened up the cupboard to find little moths everywhere. I threw out everything in that cupboard because they had started to get into other grain-based items and lay eggs along the bottom of other boxes and jars. Then got a few traps and have caught some that way and vacuumed others up when I could reach them or I would just smash them. Haven't seen one for a while now.

I plan on locking myself in my closet with a case of Yuengling. My kids have been super, let's say, um testy, this week.

This is the dumbest argument I've ever had.

We have Waste Industries here too. Before, we had someone else who had the automatic lift thingy on the side, and then I would point the can with the arrows toward the street. Now though, I have seen the trash collector guys have to grab the can and wheel it over to the lift that is on the back of the truck. So I, like you, put the handle out toward the street. -
Good morning to you as well!

I bought 10 lbs of DE a few months ago (tried it for a few weeks, but didn't notice much effect so I stopped using it) and eventually forgot I had it until this thread. Just wanted to say (not sure if it has been mentioned yet) that one should be very careful when using the DE not to inhale it as it can damage the lungs if breathed in.

Not directly, but TANF, which is on the EBT card, can be connected to Child Support. I have an EPPI card now (since my sister finally got a job and they started garnishing it from her checks) but also still have the EBT card. From what I understand, the state of GA garnishes the amount from her check. Some of it comes to the kids I have of my sisters, and the other half goes to her two oldest children who live with my parents. The state though, is keeping half of that half every other two week period, to pay back the TANF benefits. It's all very confusing.

I have an EBT card because I am raising two of my deadbeat sister's six children. Sometimes I buy beer with my money. The EBT card is for them though, and it isn't even very much. How do you know what this lady's situation was or wasn't?

My husband ordered three from BarnesandNoble.com today for Christmas gifts. -
My five-year-old twins are in bed by 7:30, usually both actually go to sleep by 8 and are up at 7. My son (6) is in bed by 8:30 and asleep by 9, gets up at 7. My daughter (9) is in bed at 9, try to have her asleep by 9:30, though it's usually closer to 10. She gets up about 6:30/7.

I have one and two of my four children seem to also. For them it has been pretty mild, but it is wearing me out! Came home after taking them to school this morning and fell asleep for a few minutes, only to realize I had been sleeping for almost an hour and a half. Hope your hubby feels better soon, OP.

I agree about them being so good! When we get them, they are gone the same day so unfortunately we don't buy them often, or we'd be broke.

Usually I admire you because your posts tend to avoid making stupid generalizations and appeal to the common sense in all of us. This post is so unlike those posts. Just sayin'.

My husband purchased through Main Street Guns Gold and Pawn in Hiram and paid $20. He looked it up a few minutes ago and it says it has now gone up to $25.

So wishing I hadn't used up all my positive votes for the day.

Just a small hijack...but didn't you have a blog and if so, do you still post in it? I seem to remember you having one and and it being hilarious.
