I have come to believe that, with a few exceptions, both sides, and in particular the leadership of both sides, are equally corrupt. One side complains about the other but would do the same thing if the roles were reversed.

Are you one of the people I see actually working in the store when I am there? It's usually a married couple with their kids and then the man's father is out there a lot too.

Thanks Ms Ga Storm. I thought I was right but he seemed pretty confident:) Hope they put something good in the new store. My father in law and brother in law both worked at the old Rose's Store.

Off to the 101 side of their parking lot it looks like they MAY be putting in a car wash. I figured the gas pumps would go directly in front of the store but I might be wrong. It is way bigger than Roses and looks like two separate entrances. Hope they are putting something good to eat there lol

I am not a fan of the Clintons but I agree with rednekkchikk. It is a fairly common and very responsible and thoughtful thing to do to make arrangements ahead of time. Huma was her closest advisor so it makes sense that she would do that. In fairness to the Clintons, I don't see anything newsworthy here.

If you haven't been out this way lately, they are making progress on what looks to be a big, brand new convenience store with gas pumps etc. across from Rose's Store. It also looks like perhaps they are building a car wash to go with it but I don't know that for sure. The store is going to be pretty big. Does anyone know if there will be anything else in the store like maybe a Subway, Pizza place or something like that? Have any of you heard what all will be in it when it opens? Thanks!

I tried backfilling around the edges last year with fill dirt but it didn't seem to do the job

Two years ago, I had my driveway asphalted. I like it and they did a good job overall. Because of the way my driveway is laid out, sometimes we have to drive over the edge of the asphalt and into the yard which causes a bit of crumbling of the asphalt along the edge. What I would like to find is someone who can put concrete around the edges of the driveway to give the edge some support....similar to a curb. It would need to be functional in that it supports the edges of the asphalt and helps prevent further crumbling and also look good and add to the eye appeal of the property.

I don't know the background here but you have obviously got an issue with Judge Beavers. Have you talked to him about this personally, face to face? Sounds like a better way of accomplishing whatever your objective is than by just railing against him incessantly on an anonymous board. Again, I don't know any of the history or story....just making an observation.

It seems that anytime you see a pattern of behavior from a certain type of person you are considered to be stereotyping if you factor that behavioral pattern into your decision making process. Knowing the current environment of "clowns" now, any clown I see with a weapon falls into a different category than Ronald McDonald. Threats, implied or direct, against anyone, especially kids, are unacceptable. If THAT is the definition of racist, then I guess that would describe me in THAT SPECIFIC context.
