I appreciate the grief of the father, and I bet if you could pursue that line of questioning with him that his quote of people carrying guns would become pretty clearly taken out of context. I might be wrong on that though as I do not know his heart. However, I am a law abiding American citizen who regularly exercises my second amendment rights to carry and I assure you, I am not a coward.

I work for a drug company and yes, most of them have either co pay cards or some type of patient assistance. Never have understood why the government does not allow for co pay cards and assistance programs to be used on Medicare or Medicaid govt programs. Seems like they would appreciate the company helping to reduce the cost in any way possible.

Update: I stopped taking Pravastatin on Monday so as of this writing it has been five days. I added Krill Oil, Vitamin D3, Magnesium and Vitamin C. I realize that it is early and some of this may be a placebo effect. However, after 5 days I feel better than I have since I started taking Pravastatin several years ago. My muscles do not burn like they did, my joints don't ache nearly as bad despite arthritis in both knees and I seem to have more energy and mental clarity. I look forward to see how things go over the next few weeks, but so far, so VERY good.

I am going to stop the Pravastatin beginning tomorrow and add krill oil. I will do some more research on the rice that lowrider discussed. In addition I am going to make some changes in my eating habits and exercise routine. I can do this.
