  1. It's all good. Again, you didn't offend me. I just read the post with a different intent than you meant. That's all. I don't get offended. But I do call bullshi.t when I see it. Nothing more to see here. I still love you and would have regardless. Some of my best friends are homophobes. LOL... As far as the word Fag...who cares. I'm a fag and I know it. Of course in the UK that would make me a cigarette. I don't call my best girlfriends hags though...it's not nice. I call them fruit flies.
  2. I'm just saying that your choice of words came across, to me, as being shrouded in ignorance. Maybe I misread you. Emotion and intent are not easily conveyed online. I'm willing to admit I might have misinterpreted your comments. If that's the case...I take it all back.
  3. He counts Bowie as one of his major influences and if you've never heard Adam sing or perform you really don't have an argument. But, again, I'm only stating my opinion about the topic of this thread. I respect yours.
  4. I never said that. I never once stated that not liking Adam Lamber makes someone homophobic. I was speaking to specific comments made in this thread that, to me, were subconciously homophobic. Those were the specific remarks to which I was referring. The only thing is, I respect those opinions. I just happened to say that I found it humorous that folks I have spoken to personally that claim to have no hang ups with gay people, were the first to make remarks that were not very supportive. That's all. And I don't mind one bit either way. I'm also an equal oppo
  5. I think sexual repression is a huge part of what's wrong with society. I think we'd all be a lot happier if we were all getting a little more. Gary Glitter was HUGE in Britain and had some cross over success here. One of the original Glam Rockers Freddie Mercury sure was known for his blatant sexuality and it never hurt Queen's popularity. As was AC/DC.
  6. I love it...at least he got you talking about him. Brilliant move if you ask me. Think what you want about him personally or professionally. I happen to adore him. I think he's the most talented male singer I've heard in decades. And this coming from a guy that mainly listens to old country. I also happen to love that he knows exactly who he is and doesn't appear to be confused about anything. I love that he's bringing Glam Rock back to the masses. How many of you rocked out to Bowie and Gary Glitter? I also love that this brings out the inner 'phobe in a lot of you who claim you'r
  7. Try Autohouse in Hiram. They are CM's here. Ask for Jason...he's a super nice guy and might be able to work something out with you.
  8. As for equipment...I would check out ebay...a lot of time you can find new equipment for much cheaper than the retail stores and even good used equipment. I would also check out epinion.com to get opinions on the equipment. You should be able to pick up a good receiver fairly cheap on the auction sites, etc. Good luck. My Sirius radio worked everywhere I went. The only time I ever experienced spotty outages was when I was on a road with a heavy tree canopy or, as mentioned, in a parking deck. I loved it for all the great classic country stations and WSM runs the Opry on one of those country st

  15. XM and Sirius are now the same company...they merged a while back. The company is now known as SiriusXM...so basically your only choice is what equipment you want to purchase. Personally I had Sirius and loved it, you still get Sirius programming and XM programming so it's all the same.

  21. I don't know yet. J has class tonight so I'm sure I will whip something up when he gets home around 8 or so. Maybe something fun from the new Food Network magazine I got this week.

  23. Sounds like the Pcom sales trolls need to pay a visit to Mr. Kirkland with a print out of this post in hand. I bet he'd buy a Commerce Membership.
