I'm pretty sure Steak N Shake is open. At least it was when one of my friends went there yesterday.
  3. Nope...he made it in almost normal time frame. He said that the roads getting out from the house were bad in spots and 278 was one lane for a while. His biggest complaint was people driving too slow. LOL. That's my yankee. Hey Pubs...people on FB told me that Channel 11 scrolled that Pcom/Ga Campus was closed today. I had no idea Pcom had campuses. LOL
  4. Dude...kill the cheesy porn music and add the Benny Hill Theme (Yakety Sax) to this video. It would be much more entertaining that way. LOL. Good job Pubster.
  5. I can work from anywhere that has an internet connection. However, I can't show houses in weather like this. That's the hard part. I can't even service listings, etc. If you can't drive in my business it's hard to make money. But you're so right. Companies that could do this, should.
  6. Jimmy took Crossroads Church to Goldmine to 278 and he said other than slow drivers he had no real issue getting to the Pcom office on the Dallas square. It seems like it didn't take him much longer to get there than a normal day. Although he did say 278 was one lane most of the way.
  7. It kind of depends on how you count with me. I have an older bio brother, we're six years apart. He'll be 41 in May and I'll be 35 in July. My mom remarried when I was just a week shy of four and my step dad has a son that's only two weeks older than my older bro and another son that's 14 years older than me. Then my Dad remarried and adopted my former step mother's son whose dad had died. He is three years younger than me and then my Dad and former step mother had a son and he is 12 years younger. So I really don't know where I fit other than if you're only counting brothers that are biologic
  8. You didn't need to tell us that. We already knew you were old.
  9. Jimmy left a bit ago to head to the Pcom office. I hope he makes it.
  10. Hey. She's my friend. I saw her first.
  11. This is going to sound really dumb, but National Treasure 1 & 2. The first one was AMAZING the second was okay. Both are packed with factual information about our country. Really cool stuff. As for the revolution specifically, check out a PBS documentary called "Liberty! The American Revolution" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0129692/ Also John Adams The HBO miniseries has a great deal to do with the Revolution in the first few episodes. And congrats to him.
  12. I was six years old but still remember quite a bit of it. My step father got a call to go rescue his son on the interstate. He did and they made it home. While out there Cynthia Good from Channel 5 which was then a CBS affiliate interviewed him while he was standing on the side of the interstate. We all got a laugh because my step dad was in Mickey Mouse sweatshirt, jacket and straw hat but his son was in a business suit and she chose to interview the redneck. It never fails. They always interview the one that looks the worst. LOL. Anyway, CBS picked up the report and ran it national on the CB
  13. A tiny bit of sleet with a tiny flake or two here and there on Vinson Mtn. just south of Rockmart.
  14. So who is this DDD guy? Where can I check out his forecasts?
  15. We'll be fine at my house unless the power goes out. Then were up poop creek.

  17. Rates? Class times? Does he have a website? Sounds like a good potential commerce member.
  18. Or random holes in your wall that may or may not have been caused by bbs.
  19. I just looked in the Commerce Directory and don't see a Coldwell agent listed under the Real Estate tab.
  20. I use Leer Background for my rental listings. They do a great job. Lear Background Services P.O. Box 813212 Smyrna, GA 30081 amytorrettolbs@aol.com 770-819-7735
  21. Check with the Dallas Theatre and Civic Center. Also there's a place in Douglasville just off Hwy 5 near the Home Depot. I DJ'd a party there and it was really nice. I just can't remember the name of the place. BTW- Need a DJ?
