I'm going to have nightmares from reading that link! It was very informative, thanks for posting it! How do you know where your drain field is? I can tell where my tank area is because the grass usually dies over it I see lines in the front yard where the grass is greener. The go from the water meter to the house and one comes out of that and zig zags to the septic tank area....so are those the drain fields? Girls should so not think about this stuff, this is man stuff!

So for a few days we had been seeing a lot of water coming from the neighbors yard and going down the street to the drains. Today I come home and a septic company is digging and pumping whatever so now my friend and I are all worried about our tanks. Do you or have you gotten them pumped? How often do you need to? What is "proper" septic maintenance? How can you tell if you are having problems? Does Rid-X even do anything?

Nothing!! After last night I have a house to clean!

I was just saying last night how the state could collect so much by allowing firework sales in this state....real fireworks not those fake ones in the tents When we went over to Alabama almost every car in the parking lot had Georgia tags. People were filling huge shopping carts with stuff. We are already starting to save up for the 4th of July

We are usually the quiet considerate neighbors. We stay home and watch TV with the kids and have our own little "party" with them while our neighbors have huge parties and are loud & drunk all night long. This year we went redneck style....made a bonfire, made smores, shot air soft guns, fireworks, we were loud, the kids had friends over and they were running wild...... and our neighbors were pretty quiet

I've seen coyotes out here at night and I live in a neighborhood. Interestingly we also had a dead wild pig thing in the road up here. A neighbor has mentioned seeing larger wild pigs before. Weird stuff!

That is horrible but at least she did leave a note. With people speeding so much it seems like speed bumps might be useful?

Too bad that doesn't work with kids driving ATVs, go karts or golf carts....I can't tell you how many times they have torn my yard up with that crap. We finally put up a split rail fence and planted roses all along it. The other day a little kid almost drove right into Parents should have more sense than to get such young children motorized stuff and let them roam freely. I wish you the best of luck in getting your yard fixed. I can understand how frustrating it is!

Libertylady has coyotes at her house. Her cat was stuck in a tree for a few days and the neighbor said she heard coyotes out there.

Awe thanks hun! With it being so last minute I didn't know where to start even looking. I still had the boxes and all the instructions that came with the DS's so that was even better.

Thank you to everyone that had PM'ed me with suggestions. These soon will be on their way to a new home so that other kids can enjoy them and hopefully have a Christmas as magical as my kids have had so far. My kids are thoughtful and I am so thankful that they are I was one proud mama when they suggested it on their own.

They got 3-d DS's for Christmas and would like to donate their DSi's to a family in need this Christmas. One is blue, one is white. They both work fine and come with their charges, I may even have original boxes for them but I'd have to check. Of course being this time of year and scams are plentiful, I'm going to be cautious on this. So please send me a PM with any info and a way to contact you.

How can you tell that it was compromised?

Thats a good point unless the skimmer things were put on every pump which would probably look suspicious. Remember when over the summer (I think) Target registers (well the scan things) had been compromised and they had to take away all the card scan things? I wonder if it might be linked way back to that?

That makes me feel better but only because we haven't used out card at Race Track. Now if Target or Walmart were pinpointed, I'd throw up all over myself.
