  1. Just what we need more of in life...Mc Donalds and church!
  2. Thanks! Hubbys is due to expire this year...maybe on his July 9th birthday? I'm guessing he can go in before July 1 and renew though.
  3. I think Mrs G was meaning that if you give the man a check you are pretty much giving him your checking account info (routing number and account #) I didn't pay much mind to that part of the flyer (from a few years back) so it is a very good point to make. And yes he used black paint in the shape of a rectangle and then painted (stenciled) each number in reflective paint (silver or white I can't remember and now its faded if not gone). It looked great. We were surprised to find the whole neighborhood done because I doubt many if any gave him money.
  4. Yes they should have but you know what, they can't go back in time. Just because they didn't give stiff punishments for it 10 years ago doesn't meant they should continue to let it slide.
  5. That is exactly what I was thinking and what my husband mentioned the other night. You would have thought he'd be smart enough to say "you know, this may ruin all my hard work" and shame on his parents for trying to lessen the punishment for their precious angel. If we keep teaching our kids that if we do something wrong and then don't like the punishment for it we can get around it.
  6. I'm sorry but THEY didn't ruin his accomplishments and career, HE did the minute he chose to break the law.
  7. I don't think it is a scam. A guy came around and did that in our neighborhood a few years back. He said it was optional to donate the $10 but he did paint the house numbers on curb no matter if you donated or not. Said it was to help fire/rescue/police people locate the address easier. Not sure if its the same guy or not.
  8. I didn't plant anything yet, the husbands Grandmother always insists on waiting until late April I think around the 21st is the magic number. I do have some landscape roses blooming though
  9. I'm so depressed that we are going to be stuck with him for 4 more years
  10. yeah I don't think that'd work for us because this is a new one
  11. I thought it would be cheap because I don't remember ever having to pay much for a prescription (except when my husband had pneumonia and the inhaler was something like $90 with insurance). I reread the surgical instructions and it says to do the advil but to use the other for "break through pain". I don't know why i feel better about advil, maybe because it doesn't have the codeine word attached to it
  12. We don't feel better about it. In fact we're starting to think about the future if the economy fails.
  13. That was what I was kind of thinking and it has nothing to do with the possible cost of the prescription for the Tylenol/Codeine. He had his tonsils and adenoids out a few years ago and was on Hydrocodone for that and I was so nervous for him then. I wish I asked what kinds of food he can have or should avoid after surgery. I'm guessing he'll only want soft things? It's just his front tooth though and it shouldn't be a big surgery because the extra tooth has already partially came in. Stupid tooth. If it were an extra incisor you'd never guess but its a point lil thing that came in where the f
  14. He needs Amoxicillin & Tylenol w/ Codeine though honestly I debated not getting that because the oral surgeon said that kids Advil works. He's only have an extra tooth removed and will have something like 3 stitches that the surgeon said would be gone in about 3 days. I hate loading my baby (ok he's 7 but he's still my baby lol) up on stuff
  15. Thanks!! We don't have insurance and my lil guy is having oral surgery so I've got to get an anti-biotic filled and a pain med filled. I know the anti-biotic will be cheap. We never need prescriptions so I figured if they were still giving things away when you get something filled, I'd jump on it haha
  16. Have to go get one filled for my son so I figured I'd check. They seemed to always have something going on somewhere and now I can't recall seeing anything.
  17. I saw this yesterday and I swear I saw them putting up the signs (warning of the lane being closed due to construction) AFTER the accident. Everything traffic wise in the Hiram area (or heading into Hiram) is always FUBAR.
  18. :yahoo: I was about to say that scum Speaking of Obama, isn't he the only one out of his handful of brothers/sisters that was born in the US? Pretty interesting lucky for him! You knew that was coming! I wonder if this is the zombie apocalypse everyone seems to be gearing up for. That makes so much sense to ransack a store that has nothing to do with anything all because their friend got killed.
  19. but it is allowed and legal because it's the black panthers if it were reversed racially the FBI would be swooping in.
  20. I think most places are having it after Easter
