  1. Our booers vanished quickly. They were no where in sight.
  2. All 3 of mine have a FB, and usually it is their friends sending me the requests. I generally accept them as long as I know them. Many times, they crawl all over my nerves with their slang and writing in text style, so I just put them on hide.
  3. I loved the idea. Good clean fun. We are going to have fun boo'ing a few this weekend. Might do a couple on our street, and then move to the other side of the 'hood to make sure it gets going over there.
  4. Here is a link with instructions on how to start this in your neighborhood. We will be boo'ing some of our unsuspecting neighbors this weekend. :yahoo: I loved it. What fun! My link You can print your boogram straight from that link.
  5. Once you have been boo'd, you post this to your door.
  6. Someone came to our door and rang the door bell. When we went to answer it but no one was there. Instead, we found this.......
  7. I have no idea what we are going to have tonight. I have to go to EPHS for a ROTC meeting first. Plus, one of my kiddos is sick. Might be leftovers tonight.
  8. I went to school with John Crow, the lottery guy. That's all I got.
  9. I would've had him take me home. I met his wife. She came to my elementary school to visit my girl scout troop in Terre Haute, Ind. when I was in the 3rd grade.
  10. Wouldn't the waffles have a lot of carbs? I could eat red grapes and strawberries ALL day long. And Naval oranges in fact. They all have so much sugar. Blueberries would be great, but once again, picky me doesn't like them.
  11. I have been eating bananas in the mornings for a long time actually. It's to the point I am a little tired of them. I also like to eat a bowl full of grapes in the car on my way to work. I think those are one of the fruits that have a lot of sugar though, so I try not to do it too often.
  12. I just tried Arby's new salad. It was decent, but had to pull all of those onions off of it.
  13. The past 2 mornings I have actually stopped at McDs and got the egg mcmuffin. I took the top off of it and just ate the bottom with the cheese, egg and bacon.
  14. There lies part of the problem. I cannot do yogurt or shakes. I have never liked either of those. Not even a real milkshake. They just aren't my thing. When I do pasta, I cook whole wheat pasta, but not sure I would add to eggs. That does not sound too appealing.
  15. I lost 60 lbs last year. Then I started meeting friends for dinner at a Mexican rest. EVERY Friday night, and eating lots of cheese dip. I put back on a few lbs. Not much, but a few. I am wanting to get them back off, and still had another 10-15 lbs I wanted to go. I have lost 5 this week. I am not much of a cereal eater except for those loaded with sugar, so I am trying to stay away from all of that. I REALLY wanted a bowl of Frosted Flakes last night, but didn't give in. For mid morning snacks I like to do cheese, pecans, pickles, cucumbers, carrots and that sort of thing.
  16. That is a great idea. I have never been one to eat a plain boiled egg, but loved deviled eggs. For a while I was making those and leaving them in the fridge over night and grabbing a couple of them on the way out the door. LR - I don't know why I did not think of that. I love wraps. Yesterday for lunch I had a turkey wrap from Publix. Then last night for dinner, I stopped and got a rotisserie chicken and bought some wheat wraps and made a chicken wrap out of it. Now I just need to get up 15 minutes earlier some days and make me an egg sandwich using a wrap. DC Red - I got me so
  17. Can anyone give me some low carb breakfast ideas? I leave the house so early in the mornings and don't have time to eat first. That usually means stopping at some fast food restaurant on my way in to work. Seems like everything is biscuits or other high carb foods. I want a healthier choice. Any restaurants carry low carb items for breakfast? Or what is something I can get from the grocery store that is easy to grab and go with? Those of you dieting, what do eat for breakfast?
  18. I absolutely love my job. I have bosses who love, respect and most importantly appreciate me. They have complete confidence in my decisions. They also allow me flexibility in my work schedule if I when needed which is awesome. There is a LOT to be said for employers who genuinely care for and take care of their employees.
  19. Are you a weather man/woman? Let me add, I asked this before reading the rest of the thread, and I was just kidding. I already knew what you do for a living.
  20. It's down in the warehouses by Seaboard I think.
  21. She is asking about the other one. She said she has already been to the one in the old Fred's building, which would be Folklore. I think she means the one by the new courthouse.
  22. Well, since I am pretty broke until pay day, I decided it is clean out the fridge/freezer. We have left over spaghetti, or I am turning on the deep fat fryer and whatever they pull out of the freezer is what they get. Chicken nuggets/patties, cheese sticks or whatever else they may come across. I actually like doing this. It gets the fridge and freezer cleaned out and it doesn't cost me a penny.
  23. A few posts back I said that an 11 yo boy did pass. I got the info from a firefighter who worked the scene.
  24. I know there was an 11 yo boy that was killed in the accident. A man was trying to turn into the deer processing place across from Scoggins MS. A family of 4 had just turn off of Harmony Church Rd (I think that's the name) and they ended up hitting head on. The boy was killed, and I don't know about the rest of the injuries. I also don't know what school the child attended.
