I am a single mom of 3 and live paycheck to paycheck. One of the things I try to do to save money is bring leftovers for lunch, and shop at the grocery store for mid morning snacks. I am dieting and supposed to eat something every couple of hours. So I went to the grocery store a couple of days ago to pick up my diet approved snacks. That's good to hear. Let me say that renting is not always perfect. After I lost the house, I moved into a rental, did well for a while, and then more things happened and I had to move from it also. I have learned a lot about cutting back some bills. You would be amazed at what you can do to lower monthly bills. Start with your auto insurance. You can almost always find a company who is cheaper than the one you have, no matter who you have. I changed to Allstate a few months back and save a good bit. You should actually check around about once a year. If you have your vehicle financed through a bank or finance company through the car dealership, see about refinancing it through a credit union. You can cut the interest rate back a good bit, and get your payments lowered. G

Last year, one of my oldest son's friends sent me a request. Along with it, was a message saying that I cannot let his mom know he has a FB. She disapproves of FB and MySpace. Thing is, he was 17 at the time, and very close to turning 18. Now, he is 18 and living away at college in a dorm, and she still does not know he has it. I have never seen him post anything to bring concern to me at all. He has always been a good kid. Every once in a while, he or his friends can be a little strong on the language but if that's the worst, I can deal with it.

People send me friend requests and I accept them, and then others call and ask for help with many different things, and somehow a certain couple of individuals like to go around and say I am stalking them.
