I'm from Ohio and I love all of those little southern things. Everyone always sounds friendly here.(unless they are in a car, lol) People in the north are straight to the point and southerns use lots of fluffy words:) I had to learn to pick some of these up because people took me as rude if I didn't. My favorites that I can't bring myself to say are Mash, buggy and ruint ( I don't know if I spelled that right)

I love the podcasts on itunes. Lots of good stuff. Podcasts are mostly free. I don't have an Iphone but I can still listen to all my music on my phone. I have a Droid Razr Maxx and you can listen to whatever you have on your computer using the Motocast, and not have to use up space on your phone. You can even rent movies on Itunes.

My son is in the Ft Gordon National Guard Youth Challenge Program and he needs to do some community service while he is home for Thanksgiving break and Christmas break. I called the Paulding County Animal Control and Douglas County Animal Control but both of them told me that he had to be 18. He is 16. I'm sure that I could call some churches in the area but I was checking to see if anyone had any ideas or organizations that need some help? Thanks!

When did it become acceptable for adults to trick or treat? I had what looked to be a 40 year old dressed up and with her 2 kids and she had her own bag saying trick or treat. We also had a 30ish woman doing it for her 3 year old who was in the car at the bottom of the driveway. Really????

For the last two nights my neighbor has been burning all their lawn waste in their backyard but they don't start it till after dark. My eyes have been burning bad! I wouldn't want to "tell on them" I was just curious if it was legal.

Ive had mine for about 2 years. I loved it in the beginning. I am a real picky coffee drinker though. Its good coffee, not great coffee. I use mine to make capaccino, hot chocolate, etc. It's really good for that. If you are the only one who drinks coffee, its good but my husband, daughter and I all drink coffee and it became too expensive. Groceries have limited supply so if you want something other than whats at kroger or publix then you have to get it from Bed, bath and beyond or online. That's awesome. My sister had a loom. We used to make rugs with it all the time.It was huge. Looked like a big piano. She also had a spinning wheel. She would go to the college and get the wool from the Ag department, after someone shaved the sheep and make yarn. Then she would Dye it and make a rug. I wish she still had it :/

They are encouraging you to go to an urgent care rather than er,because they are cheaper. Assuming you work for Wellstar, since you have humana, there are no urgent cares around here that take your insurance so you are forced to drive a good distance to go to a wellstar urgent care. My only suggestion is to call Humana and see where you can go.

My neighbor has 3 little dogs that she lets out every morning at 6am to do their business in my front yard then they sit on my front porch and window fight my 3 dogs. My dogs go nuts! I wanted to let my big dog out to eat them but I love animals too much. I think this weekend when she sends her dogs out I am going to pick up a couple bottles of Karo syrup, put it in a bowl and throw it on the dogs when they come on to my porch. These dogs are shish tzu's that she has groomed every week. Maybe that will teach her a lesson!

Gosh, I don't even know how to explain it. Its almost like a social network thats a game. Almost like Geocatching that you post and compete for awards. Its an app for either Iphone or Android. It depends on the kid. About 7 or 8 years ago after a nasty divorce, the POS decided to call DFACS for just that reason. My son was 11 and left for 1 hour. When they came, they asked him questions(what to do in an emergency, phone numbers, etc)they said that he was old enough. They saw a list on the fridge for emergencies. It is case by case. She took one practice test. She didn't do that great because I didn't warn her and there were so many people around that she was a little distracted. I got her an ASVAB book to study. I know its not really a test that you can study for but I think tutoring would make her feel better about it.
