  1. Isn't it amazing how much the educators appreciate the parental involvement? In my experience, as long as you keep in touch with the teachers, they will work with you in whatever capacity is necessary. so true...
  2. What in specific are you referring to? How can they all suck? The educators at EPMS have been nothing short of great to me and my kids. I have had my share of issues but they have ALWAYS worked with me.
  3. Rest in Peace Mason, you will be missed. Praying for the family.
  4. I am praying for the family and the young people who witnessed this also. My son is a seventh grade Jr. Raider and they are asking kids to wear red for Mason on Monday. I know this is most certainly not about me but I have not been able to stop crying since I heard of this . My seventh grader who knew Mason is devastated. He said, mom, I know God has a reason for everything and we shouldn't question. He said, but why? I could not answer my son for a long while. I just told him that some things make no sense and I didn't elaborate. We have lost too many young people lately and I'm not ashamed t
  5. So very hearbreaking. Rest in Peace Mason.
  6. That's a very good date! It's hubby's birthday! I'm so excited for you, your in the home stretch now.
  7. At least there's one less animal killer of the street for awhile. POS
  8. Wow, good to know! So you had the "best " of both worlds. That gives her hope that the next one may not have to be a c-section. LDM, we're already planning your next one lol! Great advice!
  9. Never heard of that, going to cover my ant beds in grits. Thanks for the tip!
  10. Congratulations on your sweet baby boy!!!! Remeber to do exactly as the doctor tells you regarding your c-section. A c-section is major surgery and you need to be very careful for a few weeks! Don't you love it, the advice is already starting, lol. I had two c-sections so I feel like an expert. Enjoy your baby boy.
  11. My God, why in the world would you post a picture of that! Poor baby, I hope they catch the POS scum of the earth monster who did this. Makes me sick to my stomach, I can only pray that death came quick without too much suffering. :cray: Thank God it was removed and I didn't have to see it! Poor, poor baby! There are sone evil people in this world.
  12. Please let me know what you find out. I'm interested in having my boys participate too. They take far too many things for granted, heck,I would even do it with them. That would be a great bonding experience. Hang in there hon.
  13. What do you think Lucky?
  14. Lucky, I got nothing. I have 13 and 15 year old boys and I'm sure my time is coming. Lots of people have given great advice but what stands out the most are mei lan and Jenilyns posts. They are spot on. I'm so sorry your going trough this, it makes your life miserable because you want your kids to be well adjusted and happy. I wish you the best of luck in dealing with this and hope you and your daughter find peace. I wonder if it would help to go volunteer in an area where there are inpoverished kids. May help her to realize how really good she has things at home. Good
  15. Great story, I love Lady A.
  16. That's what I was thinking, why read his threads if you hate them so. Why even open them in the first place?
  17. I just want to say I'm so sorry for what your going through. Praying that your son and the rest of the family find peace.
