Maine: The way life should be! I had a friend in Hampton Beach, NH, went up to visit her last year. It's so beautiful there. Last year I only went around Kennebunkport... My husband is in Portland right now.

I have several formal dresses in the closet and I'm gonna wear one, with a tiara, this funky wig and some zombie makeup..and probably fake blood. Yeah. Oh, and carry an "oscar" statue from my lil's hollywood bday party 2 years ago. What's your costume?

so sad. Sorry you had to go through that. I've never had to go through it and not sure how I would handle it. I know the hurt won't go away but time makes it better... very cliche but it's true. Were you able to find a support group? I looked online and found lots of message boards, but I think actually meeting ppl and talking about it in person would be better for me.

when Poppy was in the first grade there was a mix-up and she got off the bus with no one home, not a mix up w/ the school, with DH and I. We both thought the other was going to be home in time.. DDD. Easy. My ex-mother-in-law, or Mother in law #1 as she calls herself Two time breast cancer survivor and greatest granny in the world. She had cancer in the same breast twice, had it removed, went through the reconstructive surgery with problems... she came through it and tries to live each day to the fullest. I <3 her as much as my own mother and lucky to have her in my life!
