  1. I hope you get this resolved, it's horrible when someone tears up something belonging to you and they simply don't care. Since it's required by your neighborhood, would your HOA get involved? I don't think anything will deter people from knocking on your door if they are persistent. Makes me crazy, it's my driveway, yard, porch and door your trodding on, get off.
  2. Call the BBB and file a complaint, but chances are that they aren't members. Also, if I'm not mistaken, you can name the company in a post, just not on the topic page. I'd like to know as to avoid them when we get a new roof.
  3. Thank you. I love the picking and choosing people continue to do in regard to the Bible.
  4. Apparently you are correct because that is what Hubby answered!
  5. My niece did some calling and the new story from PCSD is that a disgruntled girlfriend called and made this story up about her boyfriend because they had had a fight. Not sure if it was the BF who was arrested, but according to what she found out, the girlfriend was later arrested for making threats and a few other things. That's the latest, still not sure of all the 'facts', but at least there doesn't seem to be a sniper on the loose as was reported.
  6. My daughter works at the HD in Powder Springs and she said that they heard nothing at about any incident, so who knows?
  7. As long as we're picking and choosing which Bible verses work for us, I like these: 1 Corinthians 7:10 But to the married I give instructions, not I, but the Lord, that the wife should not leave her husband. Matthew 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY'; I believe Mrs. Davis did both of these things. HHHHMMMM, odd. Who kept signing her marriage licenses, her mother who was in the job before her? Beware any verse in the Bible because if you quote one and believe in it, then logically you have to believe in all the rest. Or mayb
  8. Silly, silly Beach Bum, of course gays don't have religion. You can't be gay and believe in God, what are you thinking!!
  9. I'm one of those terrorists. I always carry a tiney Swiss Army knife, the entire thing is less than 3 inchs long and twice I've had to go back and put it in the car because I never remember before I go in to take it out of my purse.
  10. OMG, I thoguth it was just me. I even asked Hubby, 'What is a groundscrew'? HAHAHAHA!!!
  11. Was this reported to managment or the police? There is nothing harmless with this kind of behavior from a stranger.
  12. Yes, I've seen that too, but in my world there is even one better. We were there at 7:50 one morning waiting to get a passport and I'll bet 30 people walked in with huge bags, boxes, brief cases., etc., The alarms were sounding, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP and not one person was stopped. Granted, they probably all worked there but how many times have we heard about an employee going on a rampage in a building while at work? That bothered me a lot and we just hope it really was the UPS man with those three packages skirting security. It seems very irresponsible to me, but what do I know?
  13. She went there and she didn't see anything. It seems to be a big secret. From what she got, there was a call into the PCSD from a girl who said that her brother and his friend were going to go on a sniper type spree at the employees after closing last night. Apparently they took it seriously enough to send every cop around to check it out. Supposedly, 2 people were arrested, one inside the store and one outside, but she cab't get confirmation on anything and she's scared. Was this a real threat? Were any weapons recovered, etc.? I have no idea what if anything is true besides the PCSD actu
  14. Does anyone know what was up at the Home Depot in Hiram last night? My niece works there and they won't tell them much, but she said that there were PC deputies on every aisle, searching the bathroooms and supposedly 2 people were arrested on a tip of a shooting threat. She's concerned and can't seem to get any answers. Thanks.
  15. Anyone who truly believes that they have no gays in their family, are delusional. It's people with those attitudes that make gays afraid to come out and say their gay.
  16. We watched it and the only characters I like are the druggie kid that is still wearing the old mans clothes he stole from the hospital and the barber. I hate the mother, really hate the sister and I did like the step dad, but that ended tonite. Hubby says my problem is that I know what happens and it's all still new to them and they are in denial. The step dad wants to help everyone that is obviously beyond help and got mad at the barber when he killed the guy who was in their house eating the dog and he hates guns.......get a grip dude. Of course we're going to be glued to the TV on Sunday a
  17. It's so funny that you should say that, because I just walked outside and it immediately took me back to my childhood at my grandparents house. I stood there for a second and said, 'OMG, this smells just like.......', and Hubby finished the sentence with, 'Your granddaddys house in the fall'. I got all choked up, it was weird. Not only did my husband recognize what I was feeling, it's easy to forget how much you miss something when it's been out of mind for so long. Nostalgia, it'll get you every time! Be careful!
  18. Hubby has been cutting down trees in the backyard since early this morning, the wind is blowing, it's cool out and oh so sunny. Best day ever. I know I'm a whacko, but I love the sound of a chain saw, I don't even understand that one.
