I live there and we heard nothing.

I agree with most of your post, excluding the highlighted part. You described my oldest daughter to 'T' and she still got pregnant at 17. It's a myth that a majority of teen pregnancies happen to low income, stupid girls.

This is an excellent post!!!! :good:

Does this woman not realize that shes in Paulding county and that people here like guns? There is no way that this is on the up and up.

My daughter showed me this sight on Friday night and I laughed so hard I couldn't catch my breath and had tears streaming down my face. -
You are correct and for some, that is a convenient thing to forget.

:good: I like the way you think! -
This is ridiculous! Was her son the only black child to play a slave? Did the teacher say that her child specifically HAD to play a slave? Should we not teach about slavery any longer so no one is offended? It is an offensive subject all around and if you want to split hairs, why shouldn't the children having to play masters be offended too? Because who wants to play that role, having to pat other students down to see if they are strong enough to be your slaves? That's just as offensive to me. But this teacher was trying to teach a lesson on an embarrassing and evil time in our history,

Yep.....I've looked for it too and can find nothing. If it was just for ratings, it would be everywhere, including on the Bert Show website and it seems to be nowhere.

I'm with you, I HATE CFL's. -
I totally talk to myself, it helps me figure things out sometimes.

I couldn't have said it better myself!!

Jenn Hobby went through the same thing several years ago. She just got remarried around Thanksgiving.

I love the Goodwill on Roswell rd in Buckhead, I've gotten some great stuff there.

Hubby isn't looking forward to it, he has a 16 hour day tomorrow. But, he has been lucky so far and dodged a lot of bullets where bad weather is concerned. Maybe he'll get lucky again and no trees will fall on lines or no one will skid into a utility pole. Be safe everybody!

Wow! I love the Bert Show and I hate this for Jeff and Jessica. How sad.

I apologize to you that this thread became catty and negative. I was offering an opinion and if you thought I was rude, that wasn't my intent. But this apology isn't extended to anyone else who posted here. I hope all goes well with your SO either way and that there are no regrets regardless of what happens. As are you!!!!

You are so right!! I disagree with people on here everyday and I either don't post about it or I do it in a non hostile way. This has come out of left field! Thank you for adding your two cents worth, I appreciate it!!!!

Thank you, I appreciate that! I'll return the favor if you're ever in need!!

Mine too and the only way people know is because I say, 'OMG, guess where I got this'? Yep, that too. I get them at Intimacy at Phipps.
-
Me too and I'm always surprised at how much brand new stuff, with tags you can get at a thrift store.

Wrong again and don't call me sweetie.

You do need to do that once in a while, everyone does. But nice things don't always have to be expensive. I'm the biggest clearance shopper in the world and it's even better when it's an extra % off the clearance price. It's almost like a game to me to see how much I can save. Hubby will ask me sometimes, 'How much did you spend'? And I answer him by telling him how much I SAVED. He doesn't understand my logic!!
