  1. Speed Queen. Speed Queen. Speed Queen. Oh and let me see........................Speed Queen. I got a new HE set about 3 years ago and HATED it. Paid too much and after a year, I'd had enough of clothes not being clean and decided to go old school. SQ is American made, super heavy duty, has a great warranty and works like no other. If you decide to check them out, they are only available at independent dealers, almost like the old Western Auto or Otasco. We got ours in Breman and it was worth the drive. If you go to the SQ web site, it lists dealers in your area. Speed Queen. All the way!
  2. That would be a no, since I haven't either. I've also never seen any of the Godfather movies, Casablanca or The Wizard of Oz in it's entirety ( I HATE the flying monkies).
  3. Who are you??? I think you're waaaay to logical to be in this forum!!!! :good: :clapping:
  4. I heard that too and I almost ran off the road!!!!!!!!
  5. I agree with all of that for sure. And it is great to live til 81, but with her being fine and then dead, it just seems so much worse. Also, some believe that no matter what your cause of death is, when it's your time to go, it's your time to go. So who knows, maybe that was the plan......
  6. In this report, the clinic says a biopsy was never done at their clinic. HHHHHMMMMMMM!?!?!?!?!?! http://xfinity.comcast.net/blogs/popcast/2014/09/11/clinic-denies-doctor-performed-surprise-biopsy-on-joan-rivers/?cid=hero_media
  7. Well, this is how I feel about this............why is our strategy against these terrorists being broadcast on prime time? I keep hearing complaining over and over from many different venues about what we are or aren't doing, but does anyone really believe that it's a good idea to spill your secrets on TV? TV that the very terrorists we need to fight against will be watching? WTH? I don't get paid to be the President or his military advisors and can you imagine what goes on that we never know about? Do we want to know everything? Should we know everything? How can a country carry out a plan if
  8. Thank you. She's severly austic and you never think she'll have these opportunities. Her class this year is a very high functioning special needs class and for the first time in a couple of years, she is the most needy. Her teacher loves her and so does everyone else and they picked her. These kids rock!
  9. I knew that would probably be the reaction, but I couldn't help myself!! She is tickled for sure!
  10. My special needs granddaughter has been elected to represent her class on the student council at Abney. No clue what it entails, but it's a cool experience for her.
  11. Good health is number one on my list.
  12. No kidding! So what if 500,000 people are registered, if only 500 vote, that's the number you look at.
  13. That's crazy talk. Yea, she was old, but she was as healthy as a horse and walked into that clinic for a very routine procedure. Her own dr, who had no business picking up an instrument in that clinic, changed course in the middle of it and now she's dead. It doesn't matter if she was 81, 91 or 101, this should not have happened.
  14. While things have changed on Pcom and sometimes mean spirit and bitterness wins the day, there's still much good to be found here. Like if your business door needs fixing, it gets fixed. Or if you need sugar and aren't able to get out and get any, someone takes you some. Or when a family is in need at Christmas or Thanksgiving and a person/people step up to organize help and then the help pours in. Or if you ask for prayer or support because you're having a hard time, it comes. There are always people, who no matter what, that will try to throw a wrench into anything, Pcom is no different.
  15. According to this article, it was her personal physician who jumped in and did this. It's a shame that she put her life in the hands of people who obviously don't follow procedure or rules. He should have never been involved at the clinic as he wasn't an employee and the staff should never have allowed him do it. If he had wanted to do it, he should have admitted her to the hospital and handled it himself. He over stepped his bounds and unfortunately they didn't have the stones to say no and we all know how it turned out. Too sad and probably preventable. WOW!! http://newyork.cbsloca
  16. There was a write up in the AJC about it right after Phillip Seymore Hoffman died.
