  1. That was my question too. Maybe we read it wrong.
  2. He won't run because his marriage was so bad for so long, if she's nice most of the time and is 'friendly' with him more than once in 3 years, he still thinks he's got it good. GAD!!
  3. I'd love to tell you he's worth it because he is wonderful, but I'd be hard pressed to toss anybody in that lions den!!!!!
  4. That's funny because I can pick out the gal Hubby will look at before he sees her. The man isn't blind or dead, so to be jealous or unreasonable about it is just silly. My brother-in-law, bless his heart, is dating the MOST INSECURE WOMAN ON THE PLANET. She has even accused him of wanting to sleep with her own daughter. He is the nicest, most upstanding, honest, decent man I have ever known and he doesn't deserve to be treated like that. I've told him to run like the wind, but who listens to me? 'But she's so nice most of the time'...............uuuuurrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!!!!
  5. Absolutely NOT!! I will hardly go in his wallet to get out money or a credit card even when he tells me to. I don't check his cell phone for calls or texts or search through his pockets when he gets home. There's no reason to, unless he's at work, he's always with me. The man won't go for a haircut without me. He doesn't like to go anywhere without me and 5th grader. Since I've hurt my knee, he has been to 2 gun shows without me and he almost didn't go each time, 'I'll push you in a wheelchair if you'll go with me'. With behavior like that, I have no cause to snoop because when could he possib
  6. I would think not, I sure wouldn't if it were me. But I'm not from New Jersey, so who knows?
  7. I wonder if they are backtracking so their customers don't get in an uproar. Once again, which reports do you choose to believe? Gotta' love those reporters.
  8. No, I think the people who turned them away are responsible for this and I'll bet many of those same people are without power as well and that is stupid. IMO. They should be letting anyone with the credentials and the equipment to do the work, do it. When you have someone offering help and you turn that qualified help away, you're an idiot.
  9. I printed these recipes and my printer printed the so small, I'd need to be a mouse to read them!!
  10. Then let their stupid a$$es sit in the dark and cold. Nothing like cutting your nose off to spite your face. Fools! I wonder if the people without power and heat support this brilliant move?
  11. I'm thinkin'...........goof balls?
  12. That's horrible! I remember all too well the 285 story.
  13. Good Heavens, that shepherds pie sounds scrumptious and easy to make. Thanks!!!!
  14. Y-O-U......no way man!!!!! No knicker bunch ups here, it's just when reports like that go out, ones that are often inaccurate, it makes the jobs of anyone, trying to restore anything from phone service, gas and power, that much harder. People without these services get upset when things aren't like the 'reporter' said, and they have been known to harass anyone trying to help them. If I were in their shoes, I'd rather know the truth than to have some reporter blow wind up my skirt and give me false hope. These people need help, not half truths spouted by someone who knows nothing about servic
  15. I didn't say I knew every single person sent. I said that reporters don't know squat about getting the power back on in a situation like this. Especially when you have a reporter 4 feet from you and 5 minutes after he has been told by crews and their bosses that it would be at least 48 hours before power is restored in the area that they are in and then that same reporter goes on the TV and reports that power will be on 'in the morning', is clueless and irresponsible.
  16. You'd be wrong there, I know exactly what I'm talking about. I tend to believe the linemen on the crews that I personally know that are trying to get through the destruction to even begin to figure how and what they can do first to get the most people restored. Since the age of snapping your fingers to restore power hasn't arrived yet, the people trying to do the job hold more weight than a reporter and I KNOW what it takes, they don't.
  17. Now that's a good one!!!!!!!!! :good:
  18. Agree 100%. I just saw this little kid on the news and her her mother seemed oddly happy that this child was upset. 'Oh, honey, the election will be over soon', giggle, giggle, giggle, what a jerk. The biggest thing that kids this young need to be worried about is what toy they are going to pick up next. But in her mothers small little mind, it's cute. Wow, anyone really can be a parent.
  19. That's what my MIL's dr. told her too.
  20. We had no more than 25 trick or treaters, but we live on a hill and up 2 flights of stairs and I think that discourages some. So, the ones that did show up got a handful of candy and I still have leftovers.
  21. That is so sad. I can't go to the potty without someone calling my cell to find out where I am. Maybe that's a good thing after all.
  22. We're all laughing at your sweet baby's antics. I think you can expect only so much from a toddler and it seems he did great!!! Planking for Skittles..................I love it!!!!
