  1. My son-in-law was weeping when I got here this afternoon when he heard this. He felt terrible, but then to find out that they may not be removed until Sunday was too much for him, for all of us in fact, but here was this 6'5", 270 lb man moved to tears, it almost killed me.
  2. We are all distraught here. Oldest doesn't want to send the babies to school on Monday morning. 911 daughter is devastated by the number of lives lost and is concerned for the first responders who have never witnessed anything like this. I can't even watch the coverage, it makes me sick. 5th grader is still oblivious, Hubby said that he will watch the news with him in the morning and we'll talk to him. One of my granddaughters teachers has already emailed her parents to offer any assistance. This is too bad to even try to understand!
  3. Why don't these crazy a$$ people kill themselves before they take out anyone else, especially little kids. At least he's burning in He!! right now, small consolation that is. I can't even imagine.
  4. You are so very welcome, glad we could do it!!!! Things shouldn't be so hard, but we had some good visits while we were trying to fix the problem!
  5. D-A-M-N.............DO NOT LIKE WASTE INDUSTRIES!!
  6. Well, since he backed in in front of another car, turned off his lights and watched the show for 25 minutes in his car, I think not. But, honestly I was hoping he was, because that explained his perceived RUDENESS. But that didn't seem to be the case, so he was IN FACT, just RUDE. OOOOOOO, I like that one!!!!! Let's do it!!!!!
  7. I told her last week that I was in love with her too, she's gonna have a line out the door pretty soon!!
  8. Your post made me teary because I've been there too. I'm giving you +1000 for this post, it's the best one I've read on Pcom in a long, long time. Addicts and their supporters always want to place the blame on somebody, anybody else. Nope. The buck stops with the person ingesting them and then the fallout effects everyone around them and destroys families along the way. 'Well, she may be a meth head and dealer of death, but she's a good, upstanding citizen'. Horse pucky. There's absolutely NO WAY to be both and if anyone actually believes that, they're stupider than the stupidest person you ha
  9. I know and actually, you're making me laugh, which is a little harder to do these days! So, thank you!!!!
  10. That's what he said too!! Added to the fact that he's wonderful, even after 30 years together!!
  11. No kiddin'!! And if this person and so many others like him knew the frame of mind I've been in the last two weeks and why, they may step a little lighter around me. Poor Hubby, his new catch phrase is, 'Whatever you want baby, that's fine. Tell me what to do and I'll do it'.
  12. Yep, I'll own self righteousness simply because I'm not a drug dealing meth head who roped my son into the 'business' and helped get my husband killed. Everybody's got to be something, so I guess you called it...........I'm self righteous and I'm damned proud of it.
  13. There are perks in EVERY SINGLE JOB ON THE PLANET, eating inside Chick-fil-A compliments of the company happens to be a perk of law enforcement, Chick-fil-A's policy, not the deputies, policemen, sheriffs, etc., policy. For anyone on this board who is pissy about a cop getting a free biscuit, think about that the next time you get a half hour off with pay with permission from your boss because your kid is sick, or you get a personal rental car at a discount because of the volume YOUR COMPANY does, or a Christmas turkey from your CEO, or God forbid a bonus, remember this topic. The things I
  14. My son-in-law just got one, not because of bad credit but because of no credit. They told him at the bank that it takes 6 months or so to make a difference. Good luck!
  15. You have one too?!? Hubby usually hands me a spatula to wave around when I'm on mine!!
  16. And were they moochers or losers or did they do their job any less effectively because a BUSINESS OWNER GAVE them a free biscuit?? I didn't think so! Sounds like sour grapes to me. And again, who's to say that they aren't paying for their food, did the OP ask?
  17. Thats what I was thinking too, just because they're there, doesn't mean that they are eating for free. You know what happens when you ASSume.
  18. :clapping: :clapping: Everything you said is exactly on point. How is the OP being hurt by the actions of the police or the restaurant? MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!
  19. Thank you!! :clapping: Begrudging someone anything is so petty to me. Get a life!
