I like him too, always have. Added to the fact that he seems like a REALLY nice guy, could have something to do with it. Looks aren't everything, I've known some pretty good looking people who have have had the blackest hearts imaginable. It's pretty shallow to knock someones looks when you don't even know them.

Hubbys lawnmower was leaking oil, he took it apart and it was some sort of gasket. We went to Home Depot and Lowes with no luck finding what he needed. Son-in-law told us to go to Parkers service, by Dallas Tire, so we went by this morning. It looked closed but there were two men getting out of a car, waved us in and opened the store just to sell 3 gaskets for $6.00. There was a HUGE sign on the door that said 'closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2 for Christmas vacation', they just happened to be in the parking lot when we drove up. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT customer service. We will definitely be goin

Thats what I think too. But, if they kept them, they could make more robbing people and doing home invasions. Do these people doing the buy back really think that normal, non-criminal gun owners are going to sell them 'back' at a loss? It's stupid. Criminals getting money for guns they most likely stole in the first place.  Now they'll have to steal more guns to keep up their livelihood until the big buy back next year.

I agree. And like Papi referenced, the Ronald McDonald house has been funded by those evil hamburgers. Seems a little hypocritical to me.........or a lot even.

Hugh Hefner got married? NOPE. He's supposed to get married on New Years eve. Is this man really so stupid to believe that it's not his money that attracts these girls? I guess he doesn't care, especially if you could have that in your bed every night.

Of course it's not about the choices I make. It's about holding someone else responsible for my bad behavior, bad eating habits, etc. Just like it's the fault of Jim Beam if I become an alcoholic. Right?!?! Oh wait...............maybe not!

It could also be because it was a LONG time ago and no one cares. Nope. Lane is his second wife and I think they have 2 boys. Clark had a daughter when they married.

It's called 'planned obsolescence', we learned about it in marketing. Basically, if you make crap, it will have to be replaced more often, i.e., companies make more money. It sucks. I bought a new HE washer less than a year ago and I hate it. A Speed Queen was recommended to me by another Pcommer and when I can find the model I want, we're getting one. They are made in America and are just like the washers that our grandmothers had. Steel inner and outer tubs, metal bearings and gears, etc. They cost a little more and are hard to find because people are realizing that front load HE machine

My question too, you beat me to the punch.

We had a breaker trip earlier and our Direct TV box and TV both went off. Now the tv doesn't seem to be getting a signal from the box and we have no Direct TV. The dvd/vcr work with a tape/dvd, but the Xbox and TV box that both use HDMI, aren't working. Is there some sort of setting that could have tripped also? I called Direct TV and got nowhere.

Me too. Still in the lead. -
I forgot to add in the original post that my oldest daughter did all the creative painting on both kitchens. Being that it was below below 60 degrees and we were having to use space heaters and shop lights to keep the garage warm, she did a great job. I'm not that patient!

'You're welcome' is how we respond. If you're a server and if Hubby says thank you and the response is you're welcome, your tip automatically gets much better. No problem, um hum, sure, simply don't work.

I disagree that there is a design flaw except in parents who have no common sense. -

Bottom line for me is that a kids can be hurt by absolutely anything when a parents isn't paying attention. They can be burned by the stove. OK, no stoves. They can drown in the tub. OK, no tubs. They can fall down the stairs. OK, no stairs. They can hang themselves with a coat hanger in the closet. OK, no coat hangers or closets. They can smother under a pillow or a fat parent. OK, no more pillows or fat parents. When does it end? As a parent, it's my job to regulate the behavior of my children and how they interact with items in my house, every single item in my house. Are they going to regu -

Any piece of furniture in our house over 4' tall has always been secured to the wall with straps into a stud. Seems like a no brainer to me. -

I have 3 kids and 3 grandkids and none of them ever climbed on or pulled a tv off on themselves. How does that even happen, where are their parents? -
Yep, they're open. We've already made one run there today!
