  1. That's horrible, they should kill the SOB. Should a 9 year old be in the restroom alone? Not in my world.
  2. I'm not there's any good solution aside from cancelling everything and going to straight cell phone use and a digital antenna. We had an ATT/Direct TV package that started at $106.00, it that price for 4 months and then for the next 2 years it steadily went up. When we finally cancelled a month ago, the bill was up to $243.00, for the same channels. We didn't order movies and had no premium channels. We dropped them and went back to Comcast for more channels and a supposed bill of $129.99 plus tax per month. On the very first bill we got, the total was $177.00. When I called, they said it was
  3. You've got to be kidding me? A rogue soldier attacking and murdering in a non combatant village and soldiers in a fire fight are two very things and it's pathetic that you don't know the difference. Trolling, you do it so well.
  4. There was a jewelry store going out of business in Powder Springs years age and my sister was checking it out when a lady started talking to her. The lady wasn't the brightest bulb in the box apparently because everything was 50% off and she was interested in a necklace that was originally $99.99. With half off, it was $50.00. She looked at my sister and said, 'Well, 50% off ain't that much, it'd probably only be $2.00 or $3.00 off'. My sister just smiled and went on her way.
  5. Don't you realize that the rules don't apply to everyone? Of course, I don't like any of the people who feel that way and they are every where.
  6. All of the new ones I looked at were Windows 8 and I was terrified because even my brother in law told me not to be surprised at how different it was from anything I had used. Heck, I still like Windows XP........what does that tell ya'? But knowing that going in, I didn't just shut my mind to it like I may have had I not known. But it's been fine and since there was no other option, I guess I'd better be happy with it and boy, am I!!! I can actually watch videos on it, the old one took 11 days to load and then wouldn't play. Who knew that technology had progressed so much in 12 years?
  7. What a classless, lowlife biotch! Now you see where kids learn such upstanding behavior. Cow!!
  8. Good for you!! Why do some people think it's OK to be such an a$$!! It's reprehensible!!!
  9. I think we're getting our wires crossed, you've never been snooty and I know you're on my side, but several others have been. And for the part I bolded, y-e-a........me too.
  10. ...........LAPTOP. I'm so excited!!!!! The one I have been using is a 12 year old Dell that my brother in law gave middleschooler for his 7th birthday!!!! It was all Hubbys idea because my birthday is next week. He gave me a limit and said pick what you want. I only spent half of my limit and got a great deal on an HP Vision with a 15.5 inch screen, with 4mb ram and 500gb (I think that's the right letters), cd writer and reader. It included a wireless mouse, 2 8gb flash drives, security cd, and case. I had a coupon for Best Buy and for everything it was less than $300.00. WOOHOO!! I love i
  11. We got middleschooler one last year at Target, it was camo, but they did have solid colors too. He's pretty rough and he uses it all the time and it's held up fine. Check this out too. http://compare.ebay.com/like/330958256931?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar
  12. OMG!!!!! That's TOOOOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!
  13. Oh, I agree with you, I say the same thing. But you can't have that belief and then be pissy to someone who actually watches their kid, knows where they are and what they are doing and making sure they get on the bus like they are supposed to. A lot of kids are HORRIBLE and do bad things, look at the poor vet that killed by the 16 year olds. Maybe if their parents had been more involved and had an idea of where their kids were, could this have been prevented? Maybe, maybe not. But how can keeping tabs on your kids ever be a bad thing, for their safety and every one elses?
  14. W-O-W! People are effing crazy! And you're right about the police being called and if it had have been me, they'd have probably needed an ambulance too. I'm glad your daughter was able to hold her own. Customers like that need to be taken down a peg or two. Honestly, if I were a manager, I would not have continued the transaction at all, that person would have been told to leave. That's why I don't need to be a manager, when cash and customers are the bottom line and the big boss has the 'customer is always right' attitude, I could never do it. E-V-E-R.
  15. I had not idea about most of these and I feel stupid because I've been using tin foil for 40 years ans had NO idea about the tabs. Thanks!!!!!
  16. :clapping: And what would that same family say if you let down your guard and something happened on your watch? I love it when people get on here talking about kids going to He!! in a hand basket, parents not doing their jobs, kids running wild, being disrespectful, vandalizing property and the first thing they say is, 'Weeeeeell, where were their parents'? Case in point, the vandalism at EPHS. Everybody wanted to know why they were allowed out so late, where was the supervision, etc. And yet I get kicked in the teeth by several Pcommers for watching my kid to the bus stop that is 200
  17. That makes me CRAZY! I was at CVS the other day and a lady in front of me had a cart full of products and when she put them out on the counter, she started digging for coupons in her purse, pockets, envelopes, etc. Once everything was rung up, she started taking things out of the bag trying to match coupons to each item. O-M-G, I almost lost my mind. I love coupons and I use them regularly, but they are in order and ready to go BEFORE I arrive at the register. And to the person who decides to go through the buggy and decide what they actually want AT THE CHECK OUT COUNTER............DO THA
  18. No, no. I'm afraid they are long gone. Thank you for the offer of help though!
  19. I have lots of Mayberries and one bullet that I deserved in spades. But what's a girl to do? I can't always be kind and lovable and generous and thoughtful.........wait...........who were we talking about? Oh yea, me!!!
  20. Great voice and in her (our) day she was quite a looker too!
  21. Thank you sooo much! She told me today that she thinks her bladder is tired and wants to give it a rest!
  22. Yep, at the Publix in New Hope!! ME TOO!! OOOOHHHHHH the Bee Gees! Still love those boys!!!!!
  23. AAAAAWWWW, you're sweet! Thank you and right back at ya'!! I've always taught my children that you never know how you may impact someone's day with a simple smile. I've been in situations where service started off badly, but with a kind word and a smile, it changed the entire situation. And it's those people who will remember you and bend over backwards to help you in the future.
