Where are they located? I only found 2 in the Dallas/Hiram area?

This is actually what I was thinking with the "issues" I have had. If I can't email them/get them on the phone now...what will happen when I NEED them My main concern was the actual experiences people have had w/ West Metro. Kudos to those who were able to teach, I do NOT have the patience to teach . I also feel like since this is their JOB, they will do better at the teaching portion. I just feel like it's the responsible thing, as a parent, to give him these skills before allowing him to get his actual license. Thank you to everyone, for your help. Guess I'll just go sign the p

West Metro is who I am leaning towards...they are approx $75 higher than A Advantage. Blondie~ did you do the 6, 8 or 10 hours? I was leaning toward the 8 driving (since the first 2 is spent in the parking lot). I've had a REAL hassle trying to get in touch w/ A Advantage, their drivers test is in Carrollton, and well, I just wasn't real happy with them. So, I was just wondering if the $75 in savings was worth it.

So, I'm looking considering allowing DS get his Drivers License. Before taking that BIG step, I want to put him into a "driving school". There are 2 here in Dallas, West Metro Driving (East Paulding) and A Advantage (Downtown Dallas). He will take the 30 hour class, as well as the 6 hours of lessons. Does anyone have any experience with either? Both have pros and cons for me, so, looking for actual experiences. Thanks

Well, I was just going to put my 2 cents in on the "brand" appliance. When we bought the house 1998, we bought a Whirlpool Washer/Dryer set and Refrigerator. We still, to this day, have the same ones, they will be 16 years old, October. Yes, we've had to do a few minor repairs (heating element on dryer, lid switch on washer...both were under $20 do-it-yourself-ers, we had to pay someone to fix something one time). We had such great luck that we recently (about 4 yrs ago) bought a new stove/dishwasher and microwave, all Kenmore. The only thing we really have had an "issue" with was a Kenmo

David Russell w/ Sheltered Cove Counseling is AWESOME!!!!!! He did soooo much for me and my daughter. He's in Dallas, too

I'm have mixed reviews for them. There is one dr there (won't say name), however, my daughter will NEVER see her again (she saw this Dr when she was part of another practice). They were referred for my daughter. She had 2 counselors come to the house. One "released" her cause she was doing so "good" (against my better judgement), the other left the company and was having a new counselor call me. It's been 2 months now...new counselor has called 2 times (left message). I returned messages (same day when I got home) and she has yet to set up appt or return the last call. I do, how

OB/GYN used forceps, in delivery room and Baby died

I feel TERRIBLY for this family. I sounds like this could have been prevented, had the Dr. listened to the mother's concerns and done a scheduled C-Section. However, on the flip side, sometimes things go wrong in a delivery and immediate action has to be taken. With my first, I was having a normal delivery. I had just been given my epidural, husband sent (by staff) to get some food with a friend as it would be another "hour" before anything took place. In a matter of minutes, everything changed...heartbeat dropped/disappeared. Dr. was rushed in, bed was dropped, husband paged back to r -
Hopefully, if there is neglect going on (and it sounds like there may be, since this isn't the first time you have stepped in) DFACS will become involved. I sent you a PM with some items I have for the 8 YO. I have a "old" playstation 2 game that may work for the boy (obviously it won't be new). Let me know if I can help

Cookie~ I have some books that the 8 year old may like (3 Judy Blume, and several Beverly Clearly). They are used, but in great condition. Let me know you would like them.

Oh, please, if you do, let me know! It's the "wireless" they said they need. Thanks so much Oh, we are looking for the remote controls (although, if it's a good Mario (or the like) game, I may consider, lol).

Does anyone have some Nintendo Game Cube Remotes hanging around they would like to sell? I would prefer wireless, but, wired will work too. We now have 2 of the gamecubes up and running. Thanks

I just did mine yesterday. The late Thanksgiving has thrown me off "schedule" . We have received 4, thus far.

So, I have about 30 miniDV's that I would like to put on DVD, before my DV recorder gets broke, or the cassettes get ruined I've been trying ALL NIGHT to do this I THINK the problem might be that my computer(s) don't have a "firefox" port/drive (or whatever you call it). My computer recognizes my camera, but, then can't locate the driver (nor can I...I've emailed Samsung about that issue). Anyway, I've been researching and it looks like the Pinnacle MovieBox maybe what will solve my issue(s), but, before I go spend a ton of money on this box for a few time use, I thought I would see i

Last week Wednesday(ish) there was also, allegedly, a car jacking (at gun point) at the plaza across from Clark's funeral home. Wonder if it's the work of the same people?

I'm not a political person. I'm not happy with the rates and increases. However, rates have been on the increase, way before "Obama Care" was mentioned. With that being said, I think, the rates have gone even higher because of the uncertainty and the lack of education/information that has become of this. Nobody **TRULY** knows anything, except rates have increased and coverage has gotten less (meaning higher deductibles and out of pocket). Of course people are going to complain...no one wants to give up hard earned money. Again, Georgia has done NOTHING to help the situation.

Rumor of Extra Cops and Roadblocks This Weekend
pcshopper replied to UnknownComic's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I don't care if they only ticket/jail 1 drunk/unlicensed/uninsured/or kid not in a car seat, for the stop. That's one less on the road. I bet if your family member was hit by any of those listed, you would have WISHED there was a check point a mile up the road from the accident scene. I just don't get it... -
Rumor of Extra Cops and Roadblocks This Weekend

If you are not doing anything wrong/illegal, what difference does it make? I don't look at it as a hassle. I will GLADLY subject myself to a few extra minutes of time to go through a traffic stop if it pulls the drunk/non-licensed/non-insured driver off the road....or, if it saves the 2 YO kids bouncing around the backseat without a car seat, much less a seat belt. I can guarantee that most of the LEO's aren't happy with sanding out in 30 degree weather, either....but, they do what they do for the better of the community. Obviously, there are a few a$$hole cops around...however, ch -
