I would tend to agree with you. The immediate problem is that the funeral is in two days, and they plan to be there protesting. I'm for whatever legal emergency measures will protect this family from Westboro's idiocy.

Yep. And they have the legal right to assemble, no matter how distasteful it is, nor how horrific it to the rest of us for them to consider it, much less carry it out. And the people have the right to call it wrong, and to do something LEGAL to prevent it, at least AT the funeral, where their idiocy would inflict even more pain on those already suffering from such a great loss.

The ultimate irony. I thought about that, but considering this is Metro Atlanta, I doubt that's the case...though my husband plowed our street and all our neighbors' driveways today with his tractor and snow shovel attachment. Not that that's his occupation. He did it because he has a tractor, and a snow shovel that he never gets to use. It's also not like having a clean driveway and street will actually allow anyone to leave the neighborhood tomorrow. No one successfully negotiated out today, and I doubt anyone will tomorrow, either.

OP--if your screen name is also your occupation (as it might be logical to conclude?), one has to wonder what you might be doing at work tomorrow?
