So, calling out liars and pointing out governmental fraud and waste is, I take it, against your (alleged) principles?

I have a Verizon 4S that is inactive. I was going to trade it in as part of an upgrade. They were offering me $40 for it...so if this will help her, that's the price.

Stradial, I thought you were more perceptive than that. Of course she was. Nothing that the pro-airport bunch has done is honest or above board. So, lying to protect another liar is just part of the grand scheme of things.

This "go into the office and fill out a form" type of "LAW enforcement" has been going on since the middle of Shearin's term as Chairman. I complained to him in person about the conditions along E. Paulding Drive from Citizens's Square intersection to Mt. Tabor Church Rd about half-way through his second term. He told me directly that "The Marshal's Office was the Commission's little private PD" and they didn't do anything without specific permission from one of the Commissioners. Meaning that they were nothing more than a little Gestapo available for pay-backs to political opponents.

Well, out of your 7,200 posts, you managed to get "something" right. Like my daddy always said, "Even a blind sow finds an acorn once in a while."

Stop the presses!!! Mark your calendars!!! For once...I agree with you. Probably won't ever happen again....but, You hit the nail right on the head with this one.
-
I agree about the honesty...but the OP mentioned "honest politicians"....and Old Ben sure ain't a politician.

"He talks out of both sides of his face, and has contradicted almost every position he has stated at some point in the past. " Yet you'd support Hilla the Hun without even batting your eyes.

Well, actually one did. Gov. John D. Ashcroft, ®- MO, later US Sen. Ashcroft, and Attorney General of the US. Maybe we could get him to pull a "Lazarus", and raise Mr. Reagan from the dead?

I'd suggest that you find someone with a leak detection device and locate the problem. Replacing a 100' of pipe and all the trenching is going to be costly and require a bunch of landscaping repairs. My friend who owns a franchising company for plumbers suggested "American Leak Detection"...as this is a relatively new device/instrument. The local plumbers probably won't have that tool.

That is an insult to partisan douche bags everywhere.

And Bernie is running a scam called elect me and I'll give you everything free and nobody has to pay for anything, 'cause debt don't matter.

It's only important to spell people's name correctly if they are ethical, moral, and honest. You should know that by now, Komrade Kain.

So, this poses a question I have been thinking about? For Chairman? Carmichael, who apparently has some financial supporters allied with the Austin boys? Or, Leggett ? Who did nothing to distinguish himself during his previous tenure on the Commission except rubberstamp Shearin and Carruth. That's almost as bad as picking between Hillary and Bernie....

And sometimes you can find that boot belongs to somebody else. It's in your butt crack.

This is certainly a crappy thread. I have to wonder how long it will be until it gets closed down. Seems that happens a lot lately, especially when things aren't going the way of "Dear Leader".

Maybe you ought to share that tidbit with your mods who seem to close topics every time the flow of the conversation doesn't happen to suit their personal biases.

These groups are only "hate groups" if they have conservative values. They are called "activists" if they are liberal.

Could you please post a picture or two of your stuff???

Silver Comet stops making airport bond payments

The diploma on my office wall is from the world's first (and still best) School of Journalism. Those 60+ semester hours (4.0 GPA ) of journalistic studies included copyediting, reporting, photography, advertising, and TV. Mizzou operates a daily newspaper, The Missourian, which covers local, state, national, and international news, as well as a commercial TV station, KOMU. Every J-school student does a rotation on every aspect of the newspaper and TV station's operation. And if that makes me a "hack", what does it say about a "journalist" with a degree in history from some obscure -

Yeah. paralegal = glorified secretary. Color me impressed. NOT. You are commenting on legal matters. If your employment has been (or is) with any of the firms involved in this debacle, then you could be in violation of confidentiality restrictions. If not, you know no more (and probably less) than Whitey or others who have been up to their eyeballs in all this since it started. Several months ago, you ripped into me without provocation. You started it. -
I'm working on a project and am stumped. I have Adobe Elements. Need to create a page template with multiple openings for photos to be dragged into the template and resized to fit. Think of a church directory page. Pls PM me if you are proficient with Adobe? Thanks!!
