  1. AWE, I thought it was funny one of the houses I was looking at the address is PENN AVE, how funny is that
  2. Poor thing, I had all 3 of mine while DH was in the Navy and I used civilian DR's and Hosp. Where did you have them if I may ask? But I would have been better off having my first in the Navy Hosp, because my son was sick and that is where they shipped him off to. And I credit them for saving his life. The civilian Hosp didn't have the means to take care of him.
  3. I had my daughter at COBB. It was nice enough with the private room. The only one I would stay far away from would be Northside, just seems to much like a baby factory. Another thing to consider is what is the nursery level. Will they be able to take care of the baby if they have problems, if not they will send them to another Hosp and you won't get to see them right away especially if you have a C-section. I lived and learned that the hard way with my first and didn't make the same mistake the 2nd time around.
  4. This would be my main home, but I would probably rent it out till I move back to the area. Thanks PM
  5. CE thanks for the INFO. Are they still building houses there?
  6. Looking to buy another house while the prices are down. Do you like living in this sub? Tell me the good and bad. Are the lots flat or hilly for the most part, like 7 Hills? What is the HOA fee? Agents do you think the prices will keep falling for the next 2 years? Or will they go up?

  14. The kids said all that went on in the house was the blinds shaking and the dog didn't even bark They didn't know to go outside, I never thought to give my kids earthquake tips. Glad you are OK.
  15. What a week. Getting used to seeing again after wearing glasses for over 30 years. I went from 20/250 20/350 to 20/15 and 20/20. Close up vision was very blurry at first but it is getting better everyday. Dry eyes are almost gone! Then yesterday while I was sitting at work, the building shook, I work right off the hanger, I thought a plane hit the building at first. No it was just an earthquake. Worst part was not being able to get in touch with the kids or my husband for at least 40 minutes. Left work and a homeless looking guy was holding a cardboard sign saying JESUS
  16. Great news!!!!! Mark is a good agent!
  17. My employer just says that I have to have health insurance, they don't care if it is thru them or not, and they pay me extra $$$$ money if I don't use their plan.
  18. Yes, they told me no computer or phone. So this is one of the reasons I am doing it on Friday. So I don't have to take off as much work.

  21. Is this a joke? Cant vote????? This was on the news last night broke my heart. 15 Million kids!!!! "Doctors at Boston Medical Center's Grow Clinic, which provides assistance to children diagnosed with "failure to thrive," say they have seen a dramatic increase in the number of children they treat who are dangerously thin. "What's so hard is that a lot of families are working so hard," said Dr. Megan Sandel, an associate professor of pediatrics and public health at BMC. "They are working jobs. They are earning money and their dollars just don't go far enough." That is lif
  22. I see it where I work. Once the Navy personnel PCS they are not being replaced. They were supposed to be replaced by Contractors. But as of now 3 have left and they have hired no one. I'm betting it is on the contract since it is prepaid, they won't hire anyone else till it expires.
  23. Hubby went to a Barber Shop in Kennesaw and used the Beauty Shop side of it. Now he just gets jacked up haircuts at the NEX Barber shop. He gave up on his flat-top.
  24. DH Paid $1.37 OPPPS $3.37...yesterday. I won't be happy till it is less than a buck again. I remember back in 98 I went to the gas station across from Citizens Square and it was 55cents. I went in to pay and the cashier said they were having a GAS SALE. Boy I miss those days!!!!!! I really feel for you guys, how can you afford to work anymore..I had a 30+ mile drive one way. It wouldn't be worth my while, I would just be working for pennies if I still lived in GA. Did it go back down? DH said it went down and then it went back up and then some, so we are actually ahead
