Note to myself don't ever post anything POS on here...To many DEBBIE DOWNERS........................

No I have never done that, I go out of state at least a few times a year, if my card was denied like that I would change C/C companies.

Some pay a part of it. When we were covered with Lockheed I know they did. My current plan doesn't cover anything other than an eye exam. But my DR gave me a $1K discount and the procedure covers all the exams with my local eye DR for one year. You have to get your eyes ck'd quite a few times after Lasik.

He does. He also said it is only good for an average of 10 years. This DR has performed over 100,000 surgeries. I trust him. This is why I wished I was 20 years younger. Wouldn't have to worry about reading glasses for a while. Good luck to him/her. Keep us updated on how it goes!! BJ's has 3 for 20 bucks! I wish I could do it right now before the surgery. But since I am nearsighted I see better to read without glasses.

I asked about it and the DR said he wouldn't recommend it for me. He said since I wear progressives I wasn't a candidate. He said it is only for people who have glasses that make your eyes near sighted in one lens and far sighted in the other lens. I hope they give me some idea on what kind of reading glasses to get. I don't go back to my reg DR till the following Friday and I won't be able to see to work
-
Not unless he picks up E-9. Believe it or not he only has 19 years active in. Thanks everyone!!
-
Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. I go in next Friday. I will still need reading glasses, but it will be so nice to not have to wear glasses all the time.

What are you guys paying in GA? It was $337 this morning in MD.
-

I get my bichon groomed. His hair was about 6 inches long and we took him down to 2 inches. I know he isn't panting as much and now he can see LOL Biggest thing for me is to keep him from getting matted or he will have to be shaved Today it is cooler but the AC broke at work due to the heat. 84 in the office!

Shopping..Which is day long process..Nearest mall is 33 miles away. The rest of the weekend hanging out by the pool, after I sort out my clothes in the closet.
-
It has been a long week. I'm not much of a drinker anymore but I am going to open up the bottle of whipped cream vodka that I bought a few days ago and try it.
-
I cant believe the heat wave. Right now at 930 it is already 87 degrees out but it feels like 104!!!!!!!! Share how you beat the heat. And how do you exercise your dogs, my poor Bichon would have a heat stroke if I take him out, we already shaved him down, don't know what else to do. ETA Now at 1100 it is 92 and feels like 106! "HEAT INDEX VALUES... 115 TO 120" That is CRAZY!!!!!

My son's use it, and are trying to get me to do the workouts with them. I still haven't. Looks really hard and I refuse to go on a diet. -
Thanks everyone, would you mind sharing how much you paid? I'm looking at $2800.

Is it reading glasses she still needs? I will still need reading glasses.

It all depends on who you ask. 110 and below is still normal and not considered a PRE-Diabetic according to the American Diabetes Assoc. But according to the Endos(SP) it should be below 100. Mine varies anywhere from 98-115. And even after I lost 10lbs it was still 105(fasting). Go figure. But I can tell you this much if I was overweight I would def be a type 2 by now. -
Spinoff, "As Seen on TV" what have you tried?
