For his prior ER/Operation he was in the hosp about 8 hours. They billed Tricare almost 22K. Tricare paid 3,200. I paid the $25 co pay. This is why you have insurance. I couldn't image having to pay 22K for a 8 hour hosp visit.

I'm calling Tricare tomorrow and telling them about it. It was at Kennestone, closest Hosp to him since he is in college.

Talk about ridiculous charges. My son was scheduled for a procedure on July 4th. He went to the hosp to have it done. They turned him away because of TOOOOOO many emergencies that came up, TOOOO many other operations going on. Yesterday I got a statement in the mail. They are trying to charge/bill my insurance company $392.00 for that. I am def calling them tomorrow and letting them know about this. That sounds like fraud if you ask me.
