Wellstar or DeathStar ? Anyone else have some experiences to share?
DallasRed replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My husband got some of his records from a hosp in MD with no problems. Seems the easiest way is to have a DR's office request them. You just sign a release form. His was just for a sleep study though. When they mess up they probably won't be so easy to get. -
Wellstar or DeathStar ? Anyone else have some experiences to share?

Both my son and husband were in the hosp a few weeks apart back in April. They are very healthy first time ever either one of them had been in a hops. My husband was at Piedmont Fayetteville and my son was at Wellstar Kennestone. I def preferred Kennestone over Piedmont. I won't get into details but just seemed like the nurses and staff were more on the ball. Some PA came in and told my husband in front of me false info, freaked me what she said and then it wasn't even the right dignosis. WOW! Story about Wellstar Paulding. I took my daughter there years ago when she broke her wrist. Nurse -

I cant get past that hair. I would rather looks at Trumps, so that says a lot. -
Basically if you want good schools go move to the Northeast or Minnesota. I know for a fact MN has better schools. My parents moved me to NC for 6 months when I was in 1st grade. I almost flunked because I got so far behind when we moved back. I had my kids in MD schools for 4 years, def better than schools here in GA. Kansas C (73. He has a Youtube channel? Wearing military fatigues and saluting the camera, he urges the people of Afghanistan to rise up and rid the country of its “traitors.” In another video posted minutes earlier, Seddique Mateen calls ISIS militants “murderers of the people” and “enemies of the Afghan people.” He also has a YouTube channel, which, along with his Facebook page, he uses to spout his irrational political beliefs. http://nypost.com/2016/06/13/orlando-shooters-father-i-wont-miss-anything-about-my-son/

His Father was apparently a victim of domestic violence. I'm pretty sure the Taliban wouldn't allow that. No pinching allowed. http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2016/06/orlando-shooter-omar-mateen-mother-shahla-mateen-domestic-violence-arrest/

Hope it works out well for you. My family is very healthy, but like I said we had 2 hosp visits not that long ago. 38K and 22K. When kids are little they tend to end up in the ER (hurt) and get sick a lot. I could have swore you said on here years ago that you had a heart condition. I would really be scared to not have health insurance. BUT I think it is ridiculous the prices people have to pay to be covered. When my daughter was 5 years old she was in the hosp with pneumonia gone bad, I cant even remember what that cost. Almost 2 weeks with an operation included. 100K won't go far. Not to me

So who's plan covers the Grandkids? If my husband is already paying the family plan why should my kids that are under 26 have to pay any extra? I would tell them to go with Standard and not Prime when and if that happens.
-
Interesting. So a married couple under 26 are out living on their own, but still on their parents plan. Who covers the kids they have? Also my husband serves 25 years in the Navy, but once the kiddos are out of college they must pay extra for Tricare. My kids will be paying for that on top of the $565 my husband pays for a whole year. So he pays $47 a month for the family, but my kids would have to pay $306 a month once they are out of college. I hope their jobs offer better and cheaper coverage by then. TRICARE Young Adult Costs Monthly PremiumsThe current monthly premiums through De

If you already knew that why did you write this? "Youngest will be tossed off of our insurance when he turns 18. But, as long as he is still in high school he can stay on it. So when he graduates he will have no health insurance." That isn't true about the insurance. Once an adult child gets a job that offers benefits they can no longer stay on the parents plan. My AD son will get his own plan when he is in the Reserves. He will be under 26. Tricare Unmarried biological, step-children and adopted children are eligible for TRICARE until age 21 (or 23 if in college, see "College Stud

Is he going to college? He should be good. For the ones talking about how much they pay in insurance, I might not pay much, but after looking at DH's pay stub he paid way more in taxes than any of you are paying for the monthly premiums. Our family def would be better off if the GOVT didn't tax us so much. "What are some of the rules that impact CHAMPVA eligibility? • Ending Date for a Child’s Eligibility. Eligibility for CHAMPVA ends when: − a child turns 18, unless enrolled in an accredited school as a full-time student, or − a child, who has been a full-time student, turns 23, or − a ch

Hope you can find affordable healthcare soon. It is tooooo risky to be without. My husband and son were both in the hosp recently, within weeks of each other. DH's bill was over 38K and son only spent 5 hours or so in the hosp his bill was 22K. That is enough to bankrupt any family. So thankful we have affordable healthcare, but that came with many sacrifices with DH's 25 years in the military.

When I am in FL the only water I will get into is a swimming pool or the ocean. I wouldn't have ever let my children in that water, but I don't blame the parents at all. Disney should have put warning alligators on the sign. I'm thinking they thought that would look bad, thus the reason they didn't. Why would you have a beach/sand right by water that could have alligators in it? No wonder they didn't think it was a big deal for their child to be on the edge. If you aren't from FL you wouldn't think anything about it.

I walk there. I see kids in the water all of the time and sunbathing on the rocks.

There was an alligator in Peachtree City not that long ago. They have since removed it. http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local/stop-taking-alligator-selfies-with-flat-creek-floy/nrBpY/

Since I found this hard to believe. "CLAIM: Hillary Clinton successfully defended an accused child rapist and later laughed about the case. MIXTURE WHAT'S TRUE: In 1975, young lawyer Hillary Clinton was requested as lawyer for the defense in a rape case involving a 12-year-old girl; Clinton reluctantly took on the case, successfully challenged mismanaged evidence, and entered a plea bargain for the defendant. WHAT'S FALSE: Clinton laughed about the unreliable nature of polygraphs, not the case's outcome; Clinton did not volunteer to be the man's lawyer; Clinton did not claim the com
