I love how people like to complain about the cops doing their job. I don't doubt that sometimes they may get the wrong car for speeding. They are human. That is why they have court so you can prove you are innocent. But that doesn't happen very often. If the speed limit is 55 and you are going 56 you are breaking the law. They give you 11 to 15 over. Drivers Ed back in schools would be great. When I took it in high school they taught defensive driving which has saved me numerous time. When my daughter got her lerners license I let her drive everywhere we went, day, night, rain or shine. She had a full year of driving before she got her license. She is a good driver and at 16 was mature enough to handle a vehicle. I am not sure yet about my 13 yr. old and if she will be ready or not.

I have personally known Sam since 1985 and if he is guilty of anything it is being too tender hearted. My hubby worked for him for many years and actually is starting back parttime at 8:30 this morning. Trust me if Sam was not on the up & up my hubby would not be going back to work for him.

I think we all are going to end up homeless before it is over with. Going to Walmart and check out tent prices before inflation hits them due to supply and demand. Our health insurance went up in January from $52.00 to $172.00 bi-weekly, then in July from $172.00 to $288.00 bi-weekly. Our homeowners insurance is up $100.00 per yr. Thank God our property taxes went down $120.00. Not sure where we can keep adjusting.

Dang, after being at the ballpark everynight for 2 weeks I should not have to worry about dinner. oh wait, I usually don't. We always grab and go. But I am so freaking tired, I just want to stay home a night, just one NIGHT. PLEASE!!!!! huh:

It sounds to me like the school did everything they could have done to keep everyone safe. My daughter goes to EPMS and I received a letter notifying me of the incident. I really would rather the school personel keep my child, the other children and staff safe at that time rather than worry about notifying parents. Thank God nobody was hurt. I just pray this kid is not allowed to go back to school.

A note was sent home with my daughter and I thank God for the child that told on the kid. I just pray that they NEVER NEVER NEVER let this kid back in school. I am just sick over this and glad nobody got hurt.

I knew Mr. Horne from working at the bank. He was such a sweet man and I know he will be missed. Prayers for his family and friends. RIP my friend.

My daughters are 13 yrs. apart and now 26 & 12. My daughter only wanted a brother so when she found out it was a girl she was not happy at all. She is Daddy's little girl and didn't want any competition. She turned into this hateful child that I did not know until the baby was born. She was holding her sister and just smiling. My dad said I didn't think you were going to like the baby, she just smiled and said "how can you not love something so cute and sweet!" It was love at first sight! Good Luck to you and I'm sure your daughter will love him most of the time.

Girl, you are hysterical! However, I must agree with you, wonder if they are throwing anything good away. I would probably have to check it out if they threw it in my yard.
