Anyone know this man. I know I read a post on the Bentwater, Acworth facebook a couple of months ago where a woman found a hispanic man she didn't know in her living room. He was standing in there with her young sons and when this man saw the woman he ran out the front door and jumped in a red truck. Even though we live in a subdivision we need tick prevention also. A couple of weeks ago I spent maybe an hour working in the yard and had a tick on me that night...

What is the best flea and tick prevention for dogs? We have been using frontline plus and it seems to work, but is a pain to put on the dog. Is there something new that maybe comes in pill form that also kills fleas and ticks?

I put chicken in the crock pot in the morning turn it on low and put sweet baby rays BBQ sauce on it. I don't water it down because of all the moisture that is created by the chicken cooking in the pot all day with the lid on.

Depends on what high school she goes to. North Paulding beta will only let you get points by signing up for things at school through the Beta Club teacher/sponsor. we learned that the hard way by volunteering an entire day at the humane society and it not counting towards points at school. North Paulding is probably the only school that does that in the county.

I think the high school bands were great!

I didn't mean for there to be negative post and I wasn't complaining. If you read my first post I am just asking what time do you think the band will arrive at the game leaving the school at 4:30. I wasn't trying to play the band against the football team. I know it is a Football game and they need to leave earlier than the band. My husband is a big football fan and tells me all the time that it is a FOOTBALL game on friday night not a band show. So, I have a clue and wasn't complaining, but it seems that way by others post. Once again I was just asking because I heard the traffic would be bad

and think how mad the fans are going to be when they have to move because they are sitting where the band needs to sit...

They do have to drop off the kids first, but I wonder how this has been worked out in the past for other schools. I know this isn't the first time band, football, etc has needed to leave early for a playoff game. I have heard that some elem. school drivers don't have a middle school or high school route, but not sure it that is the case any more.

The band has been told that they can not leave the school to go to the playoff game at Flowery Branch until 4:30 on friday afternoon. With this being said the buses usually aren't on time so it will probably be closer to 5:00 when they leave. Considering the traffic on the interstates on Friday and it being the Friday before the Thanksgiving holiday what time do you guys think the band will get to the stadium? The band parents anticipate that they will be sitting a good long time in traffic on the interstate because you have to travel 75 to 285 and up 85.

We have had problems w/ our neighbors dogs (2 of them) barking during the time I would like to be sleeping for years. We have talked with them and done everything I know to do other than calling animal control or the police. What would work to make dogs stop barking? Has anyone ever tried one of the dog silencers that you put in the yard and its activated when the dog barks?

HOA's can be a good thing as long as everyone is treated fairly. Some people in our neighborhood can have 1 weed pop up and get a letter to weed. While others can go for years w/ yard looking bad, crap pilled up in driveway, never trim bushes etc. We have a neighbor who was friends with the property manager in our neighborhood so they never had to do anything.
