My oldest is stocky. He's 5'9" and weighs 200 pounds. You wouldn't know it looking at him. He's just " thick " and very muscular. His father is the same way .. and with that body type .. they have to be careful or else they can really balloon fast. The other 2 boys take more after me .. nice and thin ... but they still worry about being healthy .. which I think is great.

Mine don't have to depend on me .. but they do take advantage whenever they can. I don't mind, in a few years .. they'll be grown and gone.

That brought back memories. My oldest daughter when she was 2 years old. My inlaws were watching her. We came to pick her up .. when we walked in .. she was sitting in the middle of their kitchen table with a bucket of chicken. She had devoured the entire thing. She used to gnaw on the bones. Now at 16, she is my hippy, vegan child ... that says eating meat is barbaric and cannibalistic .... Funny how time changes people. Today, she eats nothing that isn't a fruit, veggie, or nut .. and she eats more than the boys do. Skinny little thing .. but I can guess where it all goes

My oldest used to be overweight when he was younger. He went on weight watchers years ago. Since then he won't eat anything without a very high fiber content. He also will only drink milk and juice. The others have followed him .. even with cereal it has to be high in fiber in our house.

Teatime replied to Legacy Family Chriopractic's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have a nephew, right after he was born, came the ear infections. At a year, they wanted to do tubes. My sister inlaw took him to a Chiropractor instead. The infections stopped .. he's 13 years old now .. tube free. -

Yup, if only people would stop taking pills for everything. But, you can only lead a horse to water. -
Yup, my hubby believes I am ocd about cleaning as well. However, we have 3 dogs and a daughter that is allergic to dogs ( we got the dogs before we found out she's allergic ). Anyway, I don't do it all myself, the kids do allot of it as daily chores. We vaccum every day, and that includes the furniture. I steamclean the carpets once a week. I dust 2 times per week. I wash the curtains once per month. I do laundry every day ( with 6 kids, yeah ). I shave my dogs and bathe them once per week. We wash all the bedding in the house once per week. We sweep and mop the kitchen every night after dinne

The same thing happened to my dad. He had a major heart attack 3 and half years ago. It was a miracle he survived. They told him he had sleep apnea for years, and it was what likely caused the damage to his heart. Like your dad, my dad is doing MUCH better with his machine. It was a drastic improvement for him.

I have found it easier to just let it go. Don't get me wrong, I have my wtf was that moments .. but for the most part, I just put in some tunes and chill out .. makes life easier for me and keeps my blood pressure down.

Our bill hasn't changed either. We've lived here for 7 years .. every summer, in the hottest months our bill runs around $300. We also use electric and Greystone. It is a little high .. but I always plan for it.

We leave our AC on 24/7 .. However I keep it high at 78. We have 6 kids .. 3 of them teens that never sleep. Between TV's, Gaming systems, lights being left on .. our bill for this month was $270.00 So, around $9 per day .. which isn't bad considering we have such a full house.

My daughter only went 6 times total. Once every 2 weeks ... it wasn't bad at all. It's been almost a year and her pain hasn't come back.

We just recently found out my 7 year old is allergic to all milk products. Needless to say, she isn't happy. We bought a Ice cream maker this weekend .. we're gonna try using vegan recipes .. I can't wait to see how it comes out.

A Chiropractor for sure. My daughter had her back locking up on her at odd times. She wouldn't be able to move. I took her into her doctor but it was blown off as nothing. I took her to see Dr. Penny .. turned out she was out all out of alignment. After a few adjustments she was good as new.

I lived there for 8 years .. In Nappa Valley .. you can have it. Especially from LA to SF .. Made that drive many times.

Actually speeding isn't always the issue and some states, look for people with out of state tags. They will follow you, and search for a reason to stop you. Since you are from out of state, they know there is a good chance you won't fight the ticket. My ticket I got in NC ... A cop pulled me over on the freeway. At first he said I was swerving and accused me of being drunk, when that didn't stick .. he looked at my tags .. ( I was driving a friends car ) .. he accused me of driving a stolen car. When that didn't stick ... He accused me of speeding 8 miles over the speed limit .. on the

NC is nasty .. won't drive through there unless I have no choice. My dad was a truck driver for 15 years after retiring from the Navy. He warned me about NC, I should have listened.
