  1. TY postman, I have to say that you do bring out the "thinking button" in many of your posts. While, at least not on p.com, do I delve very deep into the wells of people's minds, I do admire those that have the time to do so. It is good to think, spew thoughts and questions, and wait for the multitudes of members to then tear up a thread with responses that sometimes are amazing and sometimes mean as mean can be. It is so interesting to observe the inmates here, wondering who should be paroled and who still need to serve more time in solitary. I agree100%! Her reply hit the nail on m
  2. Late, as always, to the party, I just read this! Funny! Will steal and repost to a few friends I agree that even though I have a few "haters" on here and maybe in life, that I do live my life that way I want to and don't let people tell me what I should do. The biggest piece of advice I get on P.com is to not use my business persona, avatar, ID whatever.. for commenting on other posts and to get a new one for responding to other posts. I am not ashamed of what I say and feel there is no need to jump in to a conversation in a disguise. While many may not agree it is not appropriate, I just

  4. Well, we don't trade books for books; we will give you store credit that you can use toward the purchase of new books, though. AND, we LOVE to barter... and we're looking for someone who'd be willing to barter cleaning services for books... ... ... *cough* just sayin'.

  6. Are you one of those parents who feel the need to scream at the top of your lungs at your children whether you are out in public or not? Do you also feel it is okay to smack, pinch, hit or spank your child while at the grocery store? Here is another solution to your issues. Turn them into a reader! Come buy lots and lots of books at the store, read to them all the time, get them to read to you and then you won't have to discipline them all the time when your out, just hand them a book instead and ask them to sit in the car, restaurant, or other places and let their minds wander to other l

  8. I have been out the last few days so I am not sure. I will check on it tomorrow. BUT then again, if we didn't call you, sadly the answer is no;o( On the other hand. 10. I was happy to meet Whoa Willy as well as lots of other folks at the store.I actually was asked a few nights ago if I was "that person that makes up all the stuff on Paulding.com"? He is probably reading this now and is not a member yet, just a lurker. Makes me wonder how many lurkers there are that never become members. He is actually a nice guy and hope he becomes a member soon. If you are ever in the tore, please introduce yourself to us. I know I love to put a face to a member name but then again, when I see you, I often will have a hard time remembering your real name. Also, I love to

  16. Actually, Vinyl is SO coming back in style and new music is actually coming back out on vinyl. Record Players also are coming back in style and are not that pricey, so you may want to find one and play your granny's records. I do cringe here because I am feeling very Granny like that I have so many albums that are 30 plus years old that I bought new.
  17. no responses yet? Doesn't anyone have any favorite music to share???
  18. I loved vinyl records, still have some but no record player but can't give them up. When I retire, I will get another one. 8 tracks...those you can keep. Cassette tapes, still have some but finally have given most up and would never pick up another one but sometimes is hard because I miss them but cds, really? going away? really? Nope, can't make me stick something in my ears and I don't want to play something through my computer. I will keep my cds any day. Who is your favorite artist? Today is Eric Clapton's birthday so we are celebrating him today and CDs and music books are 20% off. My fa
