  4. Lol, true...but I'm pretty sure the ones I favor are really men . I really do think it may be more genre based than an actual conscious decision to choose one over the other.
  5. Romance is the one and only genre I don't read either, or it's subgenres. That field is clearly dominated by women. It may have something to do with genres too, I suppose. My favorite is dark fiction/horror, some sci-fi/fantasy (Jim Butcher, Dresden series)...classic literature, and usually male for me in that genre as well. Okay, I'm logged in at the store ...oops . Rhonda
  6. Hmm... Could've gone that route. Something horrible and bloody... you know, the usual. I'm gonna go with the too early, not enough coffee excuse.
  7. Is there anything witty to be said about gardening? I mean posting something sidesplitting hilarious... or infuriating... everyday, is a lot of pressure. And how exactly am I supposed to come up with something that's either of those things about Gardening? Riddle me that. As I'm sure you've figured out by now, our Gardening section is 20% off today. And if you come in and give me a witty line about Gardening, I'll make it 25%! How's that for a slice of fried gold?! See you soon!
  8. William Arntz and two others. It's a little bit of both, actually. I think the cover is pretty trippy!

  13. Don't forget: Tomorrow, Saturday, April 9th, Patricia Sprinkle, author of "Hold Up the Sky" and "When Did We Lose Harriet?", will be at the P.S. For fifteen years they have been delighted to let her care for their ailing relatives. After all, Teensie is both a nurse and a Friday's child, naturally loving and giving. As Teensie deferred her life, a dream sustained her: autocratic King MacAllester promi
  14. Sitting in the chair at the optometrist and the doc says"...I know you're only 40, but it's time for bifocals." "Nooooooooo!" You scream as everything goes hazy and in a fit of rage you reach for his ball point, click-pen and jab it into his ear! 19. Copschick, have you considered a big sign that says "DUCK!"? I actually have walked into the wall before but usually it is at night when vision just isn't what it should be. Yeah, that is my excuse and I am sticking with it!
  20. I have heard that story before and always imagine it comes from someone that may be being abused at home and it is just an excuse. Have you ever walked into an object just being oblivious to your surrounding or daydreaming? My topic title is just one of things one might say if they did encounter an object being where it should not have been or a minute of not paying attention but actually it is Walk Around Things Day! I know, your thinking, where does the bookworm come up with these days? Lots of hard work and access to lots of good books! To celebrate this day, we offer 25% off Health and
  21. Love stevia but there are many brands and they are not all created equal so don't give up on it if you don't like the first one you try. Stevia in the raw is good but others, less expensive ones, can also be great (though a few have an aftertaste). My coffee, STRONG, with half and half and either stevia or sugar free carmel or vanilla syrup. 2-3 times daily or I can become mean-lol!
  22. awww shucks, , nice to be thought of on such a pretty SUNnyday!
