Don't forget; Children's Literature today from 2-4 with Annette Laing and Vanessa Lee, as well as some southern cuisine with Kennesaw Taylor, 12-2! Really... it's going to rain today; bring the kids out and enjoy some shiny, happy books! See you soon!

Move over 'Magic Tree House'; there's a new historic adventure in town and the kids from Snipesville aren't pulling any punches! ---*--- What a nightmare. Hannah Dias, California Girl with attitude, and Alex, her laid-back brother, have moved from exciting San Francisco to boring Snipesville. Life doesn't improve when they meet Brandon, a dorky kid who is plotting his escape from the Deep South, and the weird Professor. Suddenly, the kids are catapulted to World War Two England. They fall into a world of dragon ladies, bomb blasts, ugly underwear, stinky sandwiches, painful punishmen

Today @The Book Worm, 25% off your selection from Poetry! I know, I know... the headline is not a poem, it's a limerick... But it got your attention didn't it? Author Annette Laing brings two historical adventure novels (think Magic Tree House) while Vanessa Lee offers kids a short lesson on being funny and trying hard. Check out the Community Calendar for details on both as well information on an appearance by Kennesaw Taylor, the author of the hillarious "I'm Ugly and Broke", as he stops in to promote "The Redn

really, I saw an ad for vintage clothes from the 90's and thought that was a bit too new to be vintage. And if antiques have to be only 50 years old, then dang, I am an antique! So if I an antique, doe that also make me a senior? Well, that depends on who you ask. From AARP... Actually, you are eligible for AARP when you reach 50 years of age, not 55, unless your spouse has already reached 50 and has elected to become a member your spouse can be put on the account. Really, you best bets are consignment and thrift stores. Saves money and unless she is super trendy, why not find out what was in all the other stores that you didn't go too! I had to laugh at your daughter's weight, I have just lost 84 lbs as of today and that means I have lost a 13year old! Wow! Wonder if that makes me younger?
