  1. This thread is utterly ridiculous.  Not to mention based to extremely antagonize those that believe in creationism.
  2. Anyone that lives in Minnesota knows you must wear a hat, anyone that sleeps in the woods knows that as well. Now last I checked it wouldn't be very common to go outside without a shirt, pants and shoes, so it appears this study sort of created the result it wanted. Just like the global warming climate change fiasco. LOL, that's what my momma said. And if I didn't like it I could just stay home. :-)
  3. :clapping: That's the way most of them go lately. It's not difficult to see nearly every thread by certain posters is started to generate the same thing, thread after thread. They usually have little or no input in the topic itself except to insult and further infuriate those that have a strong feeling on the topic. Quite frankly it has become rather boring around here. ETA if we don't agree with the OP, somehow we are unintelligent, narrow minded or our responses are unqualified. Nice way to have a conversation. Insults always work.
  4. Subby, you are a humble man and a class act!!!
  5. Perhaps he felt it was better to not upset her. Most times men's reasoning skills are very much different than women's. Yeah, we get even angrier because we didn't know, but in their mind what we don't know won't hurt us. Like I said if this was happening often, then I'd have a problem. I guess I lived with the green-eyed monster (jealousy) so long I see no need for it. (my first marriage) I love my husband but I can't stop him from doing anything. I can let him know how it makes me feel, but I can't stop him. If he chooses to continually do something I don't like I have two choices
  6. Wow, what a concept........let's create a National Park and sell cans of spray paint for those artists looking for something to do. We could charge a fee for those that want to see it. Just imagine the income it could generate and the graffiti might be reduced in areas that it shouldn't be. The carving at Stone Mountain is incredibly beautiful. It depicts an era in US History. I have a bigger problem with those people that want to ignore the fact that things aren't always peaches and cream. Wonder what our future generations will try to hide from our ignorance?? I guess it's b
  7. Hey Tow!! Good to see you, nice to know you're still around.
  8. Matches multipurpose knife pan to cook in satellite phone (with lots of apps) soap
  9. Ahhh, I'm sure the joint will take care of the pain..........but won't prevent infection. The shot is painless, the alternative is a ...........
  10. Ya know you could always do the club stuff for him and make a huge joke about it. I'm sure he would enjoy your dance much more.
  11. I don't think it's a big deal, I went to one once (to a male club) when I was in my 20s. It was fun, we went with a group of about 30 women of all ages. They were crazy!! LOL I wouldn't have a problem with my husband going with a group of guys, but I don't think he ever would. I certainly wouldn't let the secret go on any longer, you need to let him know that you know. If not, it will continue to haunt you. I'm thinking he didn't want to make you mad about it, so he just didn't tell you. I seriously doubt he even thinks about it much anymore. If it were a regular thing, then I
  12. Naw, keep it open.......you never know it might actually snow on Christmas day. LOL
  13. Jeez, he's been killed twice this week.
  14. I'll go with you!! I think we should make a trek to the White House, too.
  15. To make claims about anti-hunger algae?? He doesn't know anything about it?? My link
  16. Oh no!! You will not find me or my family on the roads...........my parents have had at least 10 cars in their yard over the last two weeks........... I love this!! You are soooooo funny Blondie.
  17. I think LTD is quite a comprehensive reader. He's usually right on with his analysis.
  18. LTD, I'm so sorry. Such a tragedy. Prayers for everyone.
  19. Not at all, I'm saying they didn't see it coming, they didn't change their spending habits, they didn't change their ways. They continued to believe it would get better on it's own..........it can all change in the blink of an eye or by the nose of a plane. In the meantime, Americans are getting more government assistance than any other time in history, eventually there won't be any more to get. While this administration was passing HealthScare and putting moratoriums on drilling, other countries are booming. They have jobs. We were promised over and over and over the economy and jobs wo
  20. Bottom line, we have the highest corporate rates in the world. We have everything shipped in, it's cheaper to ship it in than it is to make it here. So it's better to stay on government assistance than to move backwards?? I'm sure those stubborn workers in the roaring twenties and early 30s felt the same way, until about 1929 or so. Guess the recession didn't hit everyone hard enough, next time it will be a full blown depression. I'm sure getting rations is much better than stepping back a little.
  21. It would make a lot more sense to have those safety measures in place and ENFORCE them than to pay for technology that costs twice as much as oil should.
