First Converse, let me applaud you for thinking. Thinking about ways to help solve this jobs issue. You are a keeper!! Now, to address what you are talking about, I think most people would rather be working and contributing but alas, there is nothing to make, nothing to do. Until the banks release some funds for growing businesses there won't be much more happening. It's a vicious cycle and the only way companies can grow and hire more people is if people are buying stuff. If the government would stop and let the business owners and people handle this the best way they know how,

Beach Bum I fear there are a few here that couldn't begin to run for public office, they have already stuffed the closet full and certainly don't want those things falling out.

Dang, must be nice to be all pure and without sin. Must be nice not to be a public figure so people don't find the skeletons in closets. I truly find this disgusting that people are pleased this person has lost everything. By his own doing yes, but to gloat and be happy.....remember what you wish on someone comes back double to you. Whitey, I do not personally know Glenn Richardson. And I am not involved with the Republican Party either. I have met him a couple of times at different events but he wouldn't even know me if he saw me in Kroger. I guess I'm just thinking about the human side of all of this and I would hope my friends would stand beside me if I screwed up big time. I hope his will as well.

What more are you looking for?? I think his political career is ended, his personal life is a mess, his kids and family are having to deal with all this. What do you want blood?? A public hanging?? No that is not what I said. What I said is they will not publicly do anything. Their discussions will be in private, they will do what is right. He is still someone's friend, what good will come of public humiliation from his home base?? I think he has humiliated himself enough.

I don't think you will hear much out of Paulding County Republicans about this. Glenn has been here a long time and when he messes up, his friends stand beside him. Not endorsing the behavior but the person. See everyone is not like our other elected officials of the Federal arena. They don't ditch their friends publically to advance their political agenda. They certainly are not perfect and neither is Glenn, but he is still someone's father, someone's son, someone's brother.............someone's friend.
