Paulding County is one of the nation's fastest growing counties

Oh, I know that. We are also business owners. -
Well it appears Moveon.org has removed the General Betray Us reference. And so it begins, wonder how long he'll make 0bama look good enough before he gets thrown under the bus. Wonder what will happen if he requests more troops??

The house went down 20%, the business property 1% and the undeveloped 3 acres that is zoned residential only 6%. There is no way I could sell that property or the business property for what they have assessed. I will be appealing two of those three tax bills. I seriously doubt we could sell our house for the assessed value either but I'll cross that bridge next year.

Nick I think there are already some threads on this. However, since the 2000 census we were in the top ten. We've know that for quite some time, thus all the new schools. Today, right now I don't think this applies so much. My biggest concern during the boom was the number of schools we built, if we don't do something besides grow houses we will soon see schools empty and homes overgrown with the beautiful landscaping they once had. Today my biggest concern is and has been getting industry to Paulding County so these folks can keep their homes. -
Wow, I love it when the Mods are in a good mood............................ :clapping: I am so inspired, I'll start my diet as soon as I finish this mater sammich.

I guess I'll have a mater sandwich, thanks Surepip.

Would Mayberries give me some inspiration??

We've been getting ripe ones for a couple of weeks now. Not the ginormous ones that come in the first week of July but those smaller ones you can stand in the garden, pick and eat. Yummy!! We have gotten about 3 dozen, would have had more but we had to fight the crows. I think our Scarecrow fixed that for now. (keeping fingers crossed) This spring was absolutely perfect for gardens. Thank you Lord!!

Kind of ironic that the General in charge of the awful, evil war in Iraq under President Bush is the pick for 0bama now in Afghanistan. Wonder how the press will paint him now???

We've not received ours yet but there is a thread on property taxes and home values dropping. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php?/topic/247094-property-tax/

A small update. She has been to the Oncologist, had more blood work done and was scheduled for a PET scan this morning. They couldn't do the test because she was coughing so hard from the COPD. She didn't think she could take her meds for it since they said nothing but water from midnight on. Why oh why don't they ask those questions??? Anyway, they have rescheduled the test for next Tuesday so keep the prayers coming. Thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers.

Way too low!! That's pretty close. Raw materials have come down some, labor hasn't budged I would say $90.00 sf would be a reasonable rebuild price for including builder grade fixtures and appliances. If you want to upgrade even a little, $100.00 would be more like it.
