Cooler and mostly drier air (not today LOL). Apples-I made an apple pie today!! Baking- I can use the oven again. :yahoo: Pasta and Chili, YUMMY!! Fires in the firepit!! The smell of burning leaves.

I honestly didn't know centipedes had stingers or could bite. We have tons of them here, especially this time of year. YIKES

Got a big ole roast with taters, carrots, onions and celery cooking in the oven. Cutting up peppers to put in jars and freeze, enjoying the cool day and listening to the rain falling. :yahoo: Oh yeah, gotta make my grandson an apple pie.

At the time, I felt like it was the worst thing that could ever happen. My heart was broken and I didn't know how to fix it. When I got married it was forever, divorce was not in my vocabulary. I jumped into another relationship quickly, was not the right thing to do. Swore off men for the rest of my life. Thank goodness my husband was so persistent, 30 years later that divorce was the best thing that ever happened to me!! Like I said, you need to go through that door when it opens, almost didn't make it through and I would have missed the best part of my life.

Thanks LR, I'm not a big seafood fan but my DH loves it. Glad to know they have NY Strip (my favorite). I went to a place that sounds similar to this when I lived in Chicago, it was called Boston Sea Party. I think there is one in Atlanta but I don't like to go there. I think that has changed a lot over the last couple of years. Now that more and more moms are in the workforce, most judges take their earnings in to consideration as well. Dads still have an obligation to pay child support but I don't think the "men are guilty" attitude is as strong as it used to be.

You're right HHS, what I should have said was he has no obligation to her to pay all the debt. Of course he has an obligation to the one that extended him credit in the first place. (I fixed it. )

I'm sorry you are going through this. You have received some good advice here. No matter how hard it is for you, you have to make a break, draw a line in the sand. Close all joint bank accounts, cancel all joint credit cards and if you must file bankruptcy do it together before the divorce. It is time for you to take care of yourself and she to take care of herself. You have no obligation to her to pay all the debt, it was a joint agreement. You have to let go and move on. Yep, I have thought long and hard about this. Makes no sense to me!! Really hit home when I heard the last US manufacturer of incandescent bulbs was closing it's doors. We will have to import any future lighting of this type. Do you install track lighting?? I need some halogens replaced, they are entirely too hot. LED would be perfect

Her momma and daddy already raised one beautiful daughter. She graduated from Berry College last year. They have 2 girls and 1 boy, ranging in age from 23 to 6. I promise her daddy knows exactly how to handle those boys, he's had experience.

I think everyone should stay in the US or a US territory, you know keep the $ here at home. But that's just my opinion.
