I think raising it to 18 is not a good idea since some kids will turn 18 after they graduate high school. If they are going off to college, that would be sending them out as a brand new driver. I support raising it to 17, and requiring teens to have a learners permit for a minimum of 18 months before they can take the drivers exam. I also support requiring some sort of drivers education which actually teaches driving skills. Before I get bashed on this because of cost, remember having a drivers license is not a right, it is a privilege.

A child up to age 26 will be covered on the parents policy. It depends on the next renewal date of your insurance. Since most plans renew on Jan 1, your child will be covered at that time. (Mine does not renew until May 2011, so my daughter must be a full time student until then.) Also, if your child can get insurance with their employer, they can not be covered on your policy.

Congrats to all of you. I have been smoke free for 14 years now. ONLY "side effect" was food tasting wonderful...Best thing I ever did for my health.

If my memory is correct, the building the Rio Vista was in is located at the corner of 41 and South Marietta Pkwy. My grandparents operated the Texaco Station that used to sit where the South Loop crosses 41. They also ran the Yellow Rose Restaurant.

Not really, started out as misdemeanor, got bumped it up to a felony due to the way the evidence was presented.

I know someone charged in Paulding with a felony. It took right at 2 years for the case to come up for trial. Charges were dropped.

My daughter is taking a remedial math course at Chattahoochee Tech. What ever put her in this remedial must be in the last chapter. She actually had to show another student how to multiply 20 x 20. Of course this was after she told the other student the easy way to find an answer. For example, if you know 2 x 7 = 14, just add 2 to 14 to give you 2 x 8. Then the other student just tried to cheat off her worksheet. Sad... First time anyone ever tried to cheat off my girl in math.

Yep, go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a new fridge. You will have to issue a 1099 to the store. Like HD or Lowes is going to under report their income. GIVE ME A FREAKIN' BREAK!!!! This is how ObamaCare is to be funded (in part). Yeah, I know this is should only apply to businesses not your personal stuff, but taking away the exemption for corporations is crazy. My year end work load will now double.......
