Thank you everyone for all the suggestions!!!! I"ve started a box in the garage and when I find things on clearance,I"ve been putting things in there so I don't have to buy everything at once!

We visited Georgia Southern yesterday and dorm rooms have come a long way since the 80's! The newer ones have a kitchen with a full size refrigerator, microwave and countertops with a full size sink. They have a living room, private bedrooms and a great big bathroom!!! The only drawback I saw was a tiny closet in the bedroom and not a lot of storage space. It was incredible!!!

My baby will be leaving me next year to go to college. I want to get started buying things she might need so I won't have to buy everything at once. I can figure out the basics, but with those of you who already have kids in college - what do they need that you forgot or didn't think about?

My hours got cut from 40 to 35 and hubby has to take one furlough day per month so it is not horrible. I have been looking for a part time job with no luck. I've got a Senior in high school and all the money flying out the door is painful!

We live in New Hope but my daughter goes to Alpha Fighting Systems in Hiram - she loves it!!!

I live in Summer Creek right down the road from you and we haven't had any water for 2 days.

I work in Kennesaw. If you stay on Old 41 through the city of Acworth, then go under the bridge, up to the road that crosses Allatoona to 41. Go 41 to 92 around to East Paulding, then turn right on Mt. Tabor. I live in Summer Creek and the road is washed out right past the entrance to our subdivision! It took me 2 hours to get home!

Hubby goes there and they are awesome. I think they are about $12 for a haircut. They even give a neck rub afterwards with a hot towel!! Not sure of their hours.

I saw a young man in a tan mini van go through this stop sign last week and never even slowed down!!!
