My daughter bought herself a new laptop on May 29th. Last night it stopped working after running some updates. Well after 2 hours on the phone with Dell customer support, they want me to ship it to their service center to have it repaired. I don't have a problem with that except all my daughter's pictures are on her laptop. They suggested I back them up. If I can't get into the computer, how do I back them up???

Is there somewhere I can go to estimate the amount of ad valorem tax I would pay if I were to buy a used car??

I was always taught the importance of wearing sunglasses to protect your eyes. I prefer Serengetti because they have an amber lens and they block out most of the glare. They are pricey but worth it! I think you can get them at Wal Mart these days.

A friend of mine has a huge retention basically in her back yard. This is a fairly brand new subdivision. Who is responsible for the fencing? HOA or County? Thanks for your input!

Some Seniors (I won't name who) tried to camp out on the football field Sunday Night. They made it until about 3:30 am when the Po Po showed up and told them they completely understood because they were Seniors once, but they couldn't camp out on the field. At least they had a few hours of fun!!!

I know how you feel!!! People break into my house all the time and mess it up! Sorry we missed the "Trouble" game last night - DD had a huge paper to do. How did the girls do?

Take her to Evan Blake Salon in New Hope. They do a great job. Took my daughter to a nail salon once and they really messed them up!

I had family and friends send special notes to her and I'm having a friend of mine make scrapbook pages with baby pictures and senior pictures.

We went to Bay Breeze and they were kinda rude, so amazingly, right outside of Bay Breeze is this HUGE billboard advertising Marietta Fish Market, so we left and went there. Definitely the right choice!! I think the same people that own Marietta Diner run this place too. My daughter got a piece of coconut cake to go and it filled up the to go box! Plus - we had a fantastic waiter - Vinny!

We went to Marietta Fish Market on Canton Hwy for early Mother's Day Dinner. IT WAS FABULOUS!

This weekend is the Big Shanty Festival in downtown Kennesaw.

This happened to me in my neighborhood one day. There were 2 girls walking down the street and one pretended to jump in front of my car! Luckily I was driving the 25 mph speed limit and was able to miss her. I proceeded to slam on my brakes and ask her if she thought that was funny!! I told her that was the stupidest thing I've ever seen a kid do. I just don't get it! I would jerk a knot it my kid's neck if she did something like that!

I think my daughter and her group are going to downtown Dallas.

Definitely go to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Printer's Alley!!!

Going to watch my daughter and her friend coach their first fast pitch game!!! GO TROUBLE!
