    I think the thread/poll with the title "Jesus, Have you ever accepted Jesus as Lord & Savior" and the question following it ((here it is again for the record)) were intentionally vague. How are people supposed to know what's in a thread if the title is misleading. And just because someone isn't a Christian doesn't mean that they don't believe in eternity.

    I am not being nasty. But I am suspicious.

     

    Jabez, I deliberately edited some of your comments, just wanted to respond that I wasn't trying to "stir" anything, and I too find it curious that the poster hasn't returned to respond. I know that differing religions have differing views of eternity.

    I have stayed out of this too. But as a Christian I can say that this thread proves that what is wrong with Christianity is Christians.

     

    This thread made no sense and I didn't vote. I refuse to feed the trolls. My relationship with God is not up for scrutiny for the people of p.com. Most people that have been on P.com for more than a week know the atmosphere here in the religion forum. This thread was started as a way to start trouble. Plain and simple. There are ways to handle situations and ways NOT to handle them.

     

    Please remember that this is not a Christian forum. It's a community forum that is privately owned.

     

    Religions= all religions including ones that aren't Christian.

     

    I don't know anything about the original poster, so I can't comment on that portion of Jabez comments, however, to the rest of you, the original question was, "where would you spend eternity" if that doesn't fit in with your belief system, why come into this thread . . .

     

    I wouldn't have responded to the thread except that it was flawed (intentially or not) poll that was pushing an exclusive view of the world. If it had said "Christians, where do you think you're going ..." I would have just passed right over it.

     

    My apologies for my comment if that was your reasoning.

    I'm so sorry to hear about this, I heard about it yesterday, Brandon was very close to a friend of mine, I heard he was a great young man and will be missed by many. Very, very sad. Prayers for the family.
