  1. I don't know about other children. But, when I was 4 years old a girl my same age, attempted to seduce me. I am 66 years old, now, so that was in 1948.
  2. Thanks for your reply, LL F! I was very happy to find this one, on the internet. My dad recited it to me many times, when I was a child. But, I never knew the author. I guess my father just loved this on poem. I Googled what I could remember, of it, and whamo; there it was. I was thrilled to death. Can you share which of his poems in your favorite?
  3. It's a great story, Thoughts! Thanks for your encouragement.
  4. Thanks cherokeewoman! "We do not deal much in fact when we are contemplating ourselves." Mark Twain "Let the rest of the people live in a fog of self-deception. You take off the blindrs and deal with the truth, and you'll leave them in the dust." Dr. Phil
  5. If you think a Play Boy Magazine is something for your deer rifle You might be a redneck.
  6. If you think Uranus is below your belt........ You might be a redneck.
  7. I stayred home, last week, D B! I was a lucky redneck. What about you? My 4X4 pickup is not working, in the 4 wheel cycle, so I stayed home. I feel sorry for the ones who were surprised, when trying to get home. It was awful, for some of them. Thanks, for the redneck jokes, DB!
  8. You are, indeed, a good man, wb! I'll tell ya what. Being a redneck is the best thing I've ever been. I have tried to act like onna them city slickers, and I just can't get the hang of it. I reckon I'll always be a redneck.. It’s just to late for me to try to change, anyway. I’m 66 years old. I can remember when Hank Williams used to sing, "Why Don't Ya Treat Me like Ya Used To Do; What Makes Ya Treat Me like A Woren Out Shoe, My Hair's Still Curley, And My Eyes Are Still Blue, Why Don't Ya Treat Me Like Ya Used To Do?" Thanks for listening wb!
  9. I did just about the same thing VP! I was staring at the wall, but I was sipping on a Drambuie. The darn thing started looking a little different. I said to myself, "what kind of deal is this?" Then I answered myself back, "hay, you, turn on some music, the wall is already dancing." I turned on some, "The Devil Went Down To Georgia, Looking For A sole To Steal,” and my wife came back from Wal-Mart. She said, TP, turn that music down the neighbors might call the police. Well, I turned it down a little, but I was still getting into it. When the Devil said, "I bet a fiddle of gold again
  10. How's it going, for you, wb? I need a drink, when you have time. Mine just hit thje bottom. No, I'm just kidding. I am glad to have you as a friend, whether you bring me water or something else. But, I just want to ask you one question; are you a redneck? I ask you that because I like rednecks. They are just like me.
  11. Come on now, guys! Can't you maximize the best YOU? I would like to hear what you think. Your get real attitude is important, tell me what it is. I love rednecks, because I am one myself. I even got married to another redneck. She's got freckles on her BUT she's cute.
  12. Thanks, JJ! I am not a hold back kind of guy, but I understand you. You are a very caring person. My father asked me if I knew how to swim, and I said no. Well, I learned how to swim in about 1 minute.
  13. If you have read the Dr. Phil Weight Loss book, and you think 250 lbs. is a good weight for a 5 ft, tall person. You might be a redneck
  14. Merry Christmas JJ! I don't care if it's the forth of July, we need to get some Christmas cheer going on around here. Now, I don't want to get to far away from realistic expectations. I have experienced some far out stff on P.com. I am thinking I need to do like Dr. Phill advises, and GET REAL. Then I can ask myself; "how's that working for me?"
  15. I need to change my ways, folks! According to all of my friends I have gotten to be a complete arse hole. I bought me a Dr. Phil book to see if I could make people feel any better about my character. The first thing I noticed was that I need to get real about myself and my weight. Dr Phil said: "Change can come in either of two important ways: Start behaving positively or stop behaving negatively." I think I have had just enough Drambuie to make some changes. I have already stopped eating solid food, and I am now on a liquid diet. I now have a mastery over food and inpulse eating. I am on
  16. On the other hand; if you talk to yourself while you are in the grocery line; you might be a redneck.
  17. I can't speak, in public. I can't carry on a conversation. Every time I open my mouth, I have said the wrong thing. People get ill with me. They give me so much feed back that I finally can't get a word in edgeways.
  18. "Abou Ben Adhem" Abou Ben Adhem (may his tribe increase!) Awoke one night from a deep dream of peace, And saw, within the moonlight in his room, Making it rich, and like a lily in bloom, An Angel writing in a book of gold: Exceeding peace had made Ben Adhem bold, And to the Presence in the room he said, "What writest thou?" The Vision raised its head, And with a look made of all sweet accord Answered, "The names of those who love the Lord." "And is mine one?" said Abou. "Nay, not so," Replied the Angel. Abou spoke more low, But cheerily still; and said, "I pray thee, then
  19. I really didn't know what to expect, cmorg! I haven't been in the Internet Cafe for a while. Good to see you, in here.
  20. Many of Bernard Madoff's victims who thought they lost everything could get at least half their money back after the widow of a Florida philanthropist agreed Friday to return a staggering $7.2 billion that her husband reaped from the giant Ponzi scheme. My link
  21. I was expecting a love story about all things Paulding.com.
  22. Silver Sneakers refers to the growing population of Baby Boomers and, in some cases, seniors over the age of 65. A growing number of health insurers offer “Silver Sneakers” Medicare Advantage plans, but “Silver Sneakers” also generally applies to a growing number of senior-focused programs ranging from fitness courses to workshops and senior discounts. My link If 'My link' doesn't work, Google these words: Medicare - Silver Sneakers Fitness | Plans and Benefits | Members ...
  23. Google 'Silver Slippers', sugail! There are other Medicare Advantage plans who have that benefit. I think it's a very good benefit to have, if you are interested in an exercise program. It's a free full time membership at many exercise spa's. I will look it up, and see which other Advantage plans, besides Aetna, have it as a benefit. I will get back with you if I find one.
  24. I used to go every day but I am down to three times a week now. My muscles stayed too sore with the every day routine. The exercise instructors are good looking, but seeing them every day doesn’t allow for res.ing my eyes.
