Equilibrium Is Important In Our Lives
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The kind of internal screening, which only comes from people like you, affects their personalities, attitudes, points of view, and their belief's. I understood what you are speaking of, so well, that I internalized every bit of it, LPPT! Thank you! I am going to dwell on that for a bit. -

I will go check it out, BL! I apologize for that. I rarely go there. But, I should check it more often. -

I think the experience of that catalyst, you spoke of, came into your life at a very good time, LPPT! What I am thinking is that victory can be snatched from disaster, or what doesn't kill you makes you more alive. Anyone can handle smooth water, but the people who are successful stay afloat when storms are raging. I have seen you stay afloat, LPPT, when storms are raging. What I want to know is; if the means of different thinking you experienced from the situation you mentioned, has to do with a better ability to stay afloat when the storms are raging? And, I would like to know is th -
Austria has a strong labour movement. The Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB) comprises constituent unions with a total membership of about 1.5 million—more than half the country's wage and salary earners. Since 1945, the ÖGB has pursued a moderate, consensus-oriented wage policy, cooperating with industry, agriculture, and the government on a broad range of social and economic issues in what is known as Austria's "social partnership". The ÖGB has often opposed the Schüssel government's program for budget consolidation, social reform, and improving the business climate, and indications are r

A good friend of mine told me of a time when their life tilted, and that they could usually correct that tilt, putting their balance back in order. But, she said that there was a time when her balance became tilted at the same time a catalyst occurred, which caused her not to be able to hold onto the usual perspective right or wrong, she just couldn't centralize her life in the same way she had been able to get back into the center of control she used to have. I call what happened to her a pivotal point of realization that changed her perspective, and gave her a gift of awareness that she

You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but don't be so picky about your lies. You need to come clean. -

Yes, GGGM, and if enough of us come forward it could be a class action. But, I would not do it. All I want to stress, here, is the fact that it is possible for people to stand up, speak out, and talk back, in protection of their common rights. -
The images people display, of themselves, is not how they live in their personal, private experiences. Nobody will know id this it right about anyone but themselves. We don't lie to ourselves, unless we know it's a lie. I know it's a lie when I lie to myself. I lie to myself when I get into the mac and cheese, or eat a big bag of potato chips, when I say, to myself, it want hurt me to over do it a little, even though I over did it a little yesterday. Can we be totally honest with ourselves? Can we acknowledge that we lie to ourselves more often than we want to admit? Does it

I just don't see anything wrong with my signature. It is the truth, according to the C A of our D of I. And, I totally agree with him on it. He fully believed the man he was referring to had many discourses among his sayings, and passages showing fine imagination, correct morality, and of the most lovely benevolence. That is not what todays Christians have in their sayings, and disclosures. -

I wasn't going to say anything, LPPT, because I've already said enough, it seems. But, I just can't resist the fact that you think so much like I do. I am overwhelmed that you do that, so much. I know PUBBY thinks a lot like I do, but you beat him. a little. An intelligent woman is, indeed, dinamite! -

Here's what I go by a lot, and I don't even remember the person who said it. "If you want to be loved, be lovable; If you want respect, set a respectable example." Thanks again, LPPT! -

Thanks again, LPPT! Your time talking to me is very appreciated. I know we don't talk about the things that may arouse differences of opinion, which may lead to harder feelings, but even if we did I feel certain that we could agree to disagree. Everybody, around here, knows I don't flatter undeserving people. So don't think I am trying to get any brownie points. And, even that statement was not because you needed to know that, but because other people needs to know that. If I can just get better at considering the feelings of other people I feel the LORD will have blessed me enoug -

That's about right. But, sometimes a person has a good lawyer in the family. Money talk, but so does the person with a good lawyer. -

Thank you so much, LPPT! I have been a strong advocate of awareness, and understanding, for many years. I mean nobody any harm, and I love you and PUBBY. It does not hurt to know facts, even if people try to discredit them. Where SOLO may be right, on that particular law, another one can jump up and bite a personal attacker like a snake. -

Trespass is the issue, and O.C.G.A 51-9-10 may have to be used to signify the best defense against Trespass against common rights. I don't want to take a case to court. I am just saying there are laws against malice against people on a personal basis. -

I am not a lawyer, LPPT, but laws are written to be clear and not overly broad in their meaning so people are able to understand them. My opinion, of course, is that malice toward the person may not be sufficient in the case you speak of. Presumptions are either of law or of fact. Presumptions of law are conclusions and inferences which the law draws from given facts, Presumptions Of fact are exclusively questions for the jury, to decide by ordinary test of human experience. -

I am a firm believer in standing up, speaking out, and talking back, but I try to be careful what I say that may cause someone to think I was changing the object of the discussion into a personal attack. This web site is a wonderful place, and there are people who work hard to brings this needed internet connection to the people of Paulding County, to the State of Georgia, and to the World Wide Web. I communicated with people in Australia, and Germany, right here in the internet cafe. It's a wonderful place. -
Many people are not aware of a Georgia Law that protects privileged communication. O.C.G.A. 51-5-9 In every case of privileged communication, if the privilege is used merely as a cloak for venting private malice and not bona fide in promotion of the object for which the privilege is granted, the party defamed shall have a right of action. People who makes comments that are not promotional to the object of a discussion, and who is using his/her comments to vent private malice, may be subject to a violation of O.C.G.A 51-5-9. I wouldn't personally attack anyone with malice a for

Facebook wants the public’s money – and their trust – with none of the disclosure and none of the regulatory scrutiny of a public company. Goldman Sachs strategy to raise $1.5 billion for Facebook from “sophisticated investors” and invest another $450 million of their own money is an example of wanton disregard for accountability to the securities markets. But it’s more a function of Facebook’s “have your cake and eat it too” attitude towards the markets than any subterfuge on Goldman’s part. The investment bank and Facebook’s lawyers get paid to make their client happy. I’m not surprised

People Who Don't Stand Up, Speak Out, And Talk Back
Eddie Bennett replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This web site is a good place for people to communicate. It provides some wonderful, and informative, realizations of things we wouldn't otherwise be aware of. I like everything I read on here, even when I don't agree with it. I used to have to buy womens magazines in order to find out things about women THAT I DEFINITELY NEEDED TO KNOW. But, on here I can learn all I need to know about them, because I read where they have communicated with each other. My own wife likes for me to learn what I need to know about women. She knows I'm not going to tough them, and that I am just talking to th
