Labeling Is An Attempt To Cut A Person Down.

"Every man stamps his value on himself ... man is made great or small by his own will." ~ J. C. F. von Schiller It's bad enough if negative things happen in your life, but it becomes disastrous if they result in your kicking your own arse in the process. Labels are powerful influences in a person's life. If you listen to the labels that other people attach to you, they can mess with the core of your beliefs about yourself. The purpose of labels are to attack your personal authenticity. They say to you what is expected of you. Being a good "sheep" means cooperating with the heard dog. -
I tend to agree with a lot of your belief's, NG! School is a helping entity, but the parents are responsible. If there is static between the parents and the helping entity, the child certainly looses.

Can we be a good dancer, or a good anything else, trying in vain to dance for so many masters? It seems to me that it would be a serious drain on on a person's well being, and would get worse and worse if the person didn't come to his senses. Trying to be so many things to so many people leaves hardly anything in the bag for who you really are. This can certainly wear you to a frazzle. You are who you are. You are either your own worst enemy, or your own best friend. You can also create emotional and physical breakdown, that will be nobody's fault but your own. -
The topic is a quote from Oliver Goldsmith. I firmly believe this quote is a fact. If a person is his own best friend he doesn't need applause from others. You are who you are, and it doesn't matter how much applause you get from others. In fact, trying to please other people can be very self-destructive. Some of the things a person may demonstrate is fear-induced, because their peers have booed them instead of applauding them. When we consider how much energy people devote to denying who they are and living a life of who they aren't, we can see many examples of how a whole group of pe

Lets take a case to civil court, and just see who wins. Are their any volunteers who will take sides? Here's the Georgia Law we will base a libelous case on. It is O.C.G.A 51-9-10 - The unlawful interference with a right-of-way or a right of common constitutes a trespass to the party entitled thereto. Being sued for trespass can be expensive, if you lose. I would think that the more a person has to lose they would certainly not want to trespass on anyone's common rights. -

Getting personal is a bad thing, whether you are a pot or a kettle. Addressing a group of people is one thing, but singling someone out is another thing. This is not good, because the law protects common rights to each individual. So, an individual can sue a person for label they put on them. Labels can be very libelous. Unless you have some very good liability insurance it would be wise to not use labels when you address someone's topic of discussion, to cut them down. You can argue back and forth with the pot and kettle scenario, which makes it more of a possibility that the Jury wi -

Why do people resort to cutting a person down? It seems to me that if they want to offer rebuttal in a thread trey would do so and refrain from labeling the poster. -
Nobody is selling anything in this thread, 10101! If you want to buy something go somewhere else.

Here are lyrics to a cutdown song. I see right through your mind I see your kind, I know your game Surviving on the soul of a song Please tell me how you escape From the guilt that should eat at your mind When you lay down to sleep So many precious lives lost Picking up the shattered dreams broken by you You'll be cut down to size when we're done with you When you're cut down to size we will look down on you Why is life a game where we are forced to play I think it's safe to assume Don't feed off a loss or a win The reward is to survive As you breathe you abuse t

Your personality was just attacked, zc! Are you really bias, or is it just a label attempt?

Boortz thinks somebody's gotta say it. He gets on the radio and says it every day. "You may not like much of what I have to say, and that's fine. You will remember it though. Especially after about 10 years out there in the real world." ~ Neal Boortz The man is brilliant!

You deserve it, Subby! It's been so bad for a working man, like you, to do without work. I'm glad it's coming to an end for you. -
I'm a firm believer in the fact that School is where students get instruction, and Home is where they get education. Family time should be included in a students education, as they are going to have their own family to educate.

Sometimes the hardest part of learning new skills is unlearning old skills. You may lack certain critical information, and you may have certain information that is simply wrong. If you have been fortunate enough to have gained the right information in your life, with consideration of all the technology available, today, you can thank blind luck for getting the information you will need. It's a safe bet that a lot of our technology requirements didn't come from the training and presentation you achieved earlier in your life. Human functioning requires different information than what used to be -

Knowing how to play the game takes a lot of practice. Learned skills is acquired knowledge, but it's how you use that knowledge that counts. Winning a popularity contest is one thing, but knowing how to stay afloat when storms are raging is another thing, winning can do for you. No matter how smart you are, you can't start speaking Russian until you learn how to do it. You can't fly an airplane until you have the learned skills necessary to fly one. Winning, then, has many aspects when it comes to succeeding in the game of life. When you measure, in your own view, the behavior patter -
Do you know how the game is played and the pressure points that drives the results? If you do you have a level of mastery that allows you to win a lot of the time. If you know which behavior gets which results, you can eliminate a lot of error. And,who wins? You do. Is this really a winning attitude, however? Telling people what they want to hear wins you a lot of friends. But, are you surrounding yourself with friends who only want to hear lies, because when you tell them the painful truth you are no longer a winner of their favor? I'll be back! I have a big lunch to eat.

Some people say it's easier to stay with the flow of things. With that attitude we just go along with whatever the circumstances are, without the frustration and discomfort of making some tough decisions, and plans to get things underway. We think we are protecting ourselves from disappointment, when that is not what we are doing, at all. The disappointment is what we get from not taking necessary action. People think; "where did you copy and past this information from, Mr. Postman," but I don't copy and post as many things as I get credit for. This post is coming straight from my own exp

PUBBY works, a lot of his waking hours, providing a good environment for his fellow citizens to hang together in. I sometimes wonder if he doesn't dream about P.co, while he is asleep. In any event, this website is far and above most websites I have had the privilege of visiting, on my internet browser. As anyone can see, I spend a lot of time, on here, telling my friends the truth, about life, as I know it to be. We are all in this World together, and togetherness is not all about individuality. I don't think the Chief author of our Declaration of Independence intended to write a d -

It's a job getting on P.com and telling people the truth about things, but I just like to tell people the truth. PUBBY, allows me to do it as much as I want to do it, and I would like to be a man of his caliber one day; so my thought is that practicing telling the truth makes perfect.
