I have my own health insurance now, which is Medicare. It cost $96.00 a month, regardless of preexisting conditions. I don't want nobody furnishing my healthcare, but me. Corporations no longer need to help anybody with their healthcare, while they use a Swiss bank account to avoid income taxes, and sell the American people Chinese goods they don't even need. Praying on the middle class for their money, and their property through Credit cards.

I tried to work for a business once. I couldn't buy health insurance with the money I was making, but they were able to get it cheaper for me. I thought there was something wrong with that situation. I asked myself; "why would I want my employer to have anything to do with my damn health insurance? So sure enough he started holding that over my head, until I was able to buy my on from my own business, no thanks to him. I couldn't afford gasoline to get to and from work, let alone support my family. Needless to say, I started working for myself as soon as I could.

It's the old adage if a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his arse as much, e_s! Money kills people, and happiness can't be bought. A fool and his money amounts to nothing if he don't have the necessary knowledge to utilize it. Rain Man wouldn't have known what to do with money, but he knew how to count it. There are a lot of people who knows how to count it, but they are just fools in the area of utilization.

I just refuse to work for someone other than myself. I had rather starve to death than to live making someone else's dreams come true. And, it's a good think I am self reliant, because even if I would work in someone else's business nobody would hire me. If my grass needs cutting I cut it myself. If my roof needs shingles I shingle it myself, even at 66 years old. What almost got me was cancer. I don't see why It cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to treat cancer. I have done more construction work on commercial building and houses, including the buildings where people sit to get kemo f

Ken, If you are out there, I am wondering how you are doing with your quit smoking situation. The last time I heard from you you were in the process of quitting the cigarette habit. I have been hoping that you are able to stay quit. My uncle died a couple years back, from emphysema. His doctor used to give him medication to open his lungs, a little, so he could breathe the oxygen he was on. But, he would take the medication so he could smoke another cigarette. I wish I could do that, CM! But I find it difficult to tell people the truth, which is not what they seem to want to hear. Being like many other people are is more like blowing smoke at you than what I do. A person who really cares about their life doesn't mind where they get the truth. But, it seems that people who don't like the cold hard truth doesn't have a life that matters much to them.

In this country people don't seem to be satisfied with the basics. We are consumers of things we don't basically need.

If a person fears ethical and moral discussion, they surely must live with a fictional infection of some kind. Ignoring the truth, which ethical and moral conclusions eventually come to, can literally be killing you. An infection may set in that has results like gangrene does on body tissue, and sometimes the mind is affected in the same way. Anybody can tell you what you want to hear, but the truth is often painful. The people who tell you the truth tend to not be as welcome in your life.
