  1. Why would anyone sign a contract that gives their bargaining rights away, even before they get to the bargaining table? Some people signs their bargaining rights away in an application, which they fill out before they reach the bargaining tale. What kind of person would do that? Why are people so desperate for a job working for someone who provides such an application for them to sign?
  2. You are a Hero for watching Dr. Phil. dgitw! I was just reading in one of his books. When I opened it the first page I turned to had a Mark Twain quote on it. "IF EVERYBODY WAS SATISFIED WITH HIMSELF, THERE WOULD BE NO HEROES." I admire the fact that there is another Dr. Phil fan, on P.com. But, don't attempt to Dr. Phil anyone other than yourself. It's not a popular endeavor.
  3. Do you think I should change my Avatar to George Clooney? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FC1fY2O7uKc Have you seen his mural?
  4. I think the government should provide penalties sufficient to discourage companies to not have a place for lactating women to go to. It should be severe enough that there is no question about it.
  5. I misspell words, a lot, BL, and bullies like it. It gives them a chance to belittle.
  6. Here's a song that will help you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHWrudgCc3Q
  7. I actually meant locus of control, BL! I did hit a "t" on the end, bu mistake. Locus of control in social psychology refers to the extent to which individuals believe that they can control events that affect them. Understanding of the concept was developed by Julian B. Rotter in 1954, and has since become an important aspect of personality studies. Individuals with a high internal locus of control believe that events result primarily from their own behavior and actions. Those with a low internal locus of control believe that powerful others, fate, or chance primarily determine ev
  8. Comfort is one thing, and compassion is another, S & D N! I think BL's compassion leads her to a picture speaks louder than words, in this case. Comfort is the selfish belief that things are about the beholder, him/herself. When powerful others, fate, or chance primarily determine events, in a person's life, they are hard on themselves, even when it's not about them, at all. Some people are so vain they probably think BL is talking about them, in particular.
  9. BL can take bullying, it seems to me, very well. I feel sorrier for the bullies, myself, because they usually have a sense of entitlement and superiority over others, and lack compassion, impulse control and social skills. They enjoy being cruel to others and sometimes use bullying as an anger management tool, the way a normally angry person would punch a pillow.
  10. Nobody has stolen any of my copyrighted material, M O! But, thanks for your concern!
  11. I think it has to do with an individuals locust of control, BL! The reasoning behind my thoughts are that people with an internal locus of control believe that their own actions determine the rewards that they obtain, while those with an external locus of control believe that their own behavior doesn't matter much and that rewards in life are generally outside of their control. Your locus of control is great, BL! You certainly don't seem to believe that your behavior doesn't matter much. Your rewards are great, in the fact that you expect nothing for your wonderful, and educational,
  12. I hear you, LTD! But, mambo-jumbo doesn't interest me a whole lot!
  13. I think the State of GA, is on the right track, in regard to, bullying. It is now against the law in Georgia Schools. If found guilty the punishment can be pretty severe. Bullying has cause children to commit suicide. This week the state house is expected to make Cyber bullying illegal as well. Whether it's face to face teasing or over the Internet it's just as harmful. The bill that's proposed would prohibit students from bullying by texts, email and social media. Even though I cannot be bullied, I still understand it's effect upon a person who may not be as strong in their self-estee
  14. The truth about this topic is more than just physical appearance, however! People who go around doing what they love to do, instead of doing what someone else loves for them to do are beautiful people, in my book. I don't care if they are as ugly as hoe-made soap in their physical appearance, they are beautiful to me.
  15. I am so happy, bored, that I just love my life! I love the P.com location so much that I can't wait to get my chores done so I can get back to doing what I love to do. I am a strong believer in the fact that people who don't take action, on what they love, are not leaving a lot of happy tracks as they go down life's road. Keeping the truth bottles up inside, does not help ones self, let alone anyone else. Taking action is what I will do as long as I live. Thank you for the kind of understanding you have, bored! It inspires me. You seem to have killed a lot of them,
  16. I worked by the moon light, low! I am building a place for my radial arm saw. I plan on being able to cut lumber into different length, even in the moon light. Nevertheless, I added a 300w. bulb, which uses only 65 watts because it's one of the curly bulbs. I can turn it on when the moon is not bright enough.
  17. Liars post nonsense on web sites trying to inflate their self worth, markdavd, believing they are making a difference. They do have believers of their lies, but it makes no difference, because lies just don't make sense out of anything.
  18. I'm sorry that you have to do this kind of thing, MrsB! I am a take it or leave it, kind of guy, and don't do it for habit. But, thinking makes that so, for me. Other people, especially on P.com, accuse me of being a drunk who doesn't know what he is talking about. I don't see anything wrong with enjoying a favorite drink, in moderation of course, and them going with the Beck's and O'Doul's thing at other times. Good luck with your favorite beer, MrsB! I really do understand your situation. I have terrible situations, in my life, but beer is far from being the cause of my concerns.
  19. It's boarding house roomers, that this country is all about, in my opinion. The United States is a boarding house, in the sense that we all pay taxes. I understand, though, what you are saying! And, I agree with you, too!
  20. The logic of, "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?" makes a person accident prone. It gives a person a false notion, leading to a fictional self-concept. These people forfeit logic in favor of continual chaos in their lives. There is nothing bona fide in this kind of living.
  21. People who treat Professionals better than they do Amateurs have ulterior motives in life as a whole. Professionals are subject to roomers just like everyone else. Roomers, that cannot be backed up with fact is not good for anyone. My opinion. of course!
  22. I have tried the Killians, S M, and you are right, it'a a good beer lager. I am getting a 12 pack this evening.
  23. I know some real Drama Queens. Some of them are Drama Kings, but the phrase Drama Queen applies to all. LTTP is just not a real Drama Queen however, and she gives herself away with her actual character! Real Drama Queens are hysterical in their thinking, in every way, and at all times. Non of life's events are ordinary, they are hysterical in plain old ordinary situations. Every sickness they have is the worst the doctor has ever seen. Every fender-bender is a fiery crash to hear them tell it. Everything other people say to them is either the sweetest thing they have ever heard, or th
  24. Some people use the phrase "What Difference Does It Make?" in communication with other people. But, some of them even use the phrase in their internal dialog. They go around dealing with their own life asking themselves, "What Difference Does It Mak?" This is actually a good question to ask, but people who end things with that phrase are not actually wanting an answer. It's their mean to an end of the thinking that brought them to that point. They might just as well say, "STOP the thinking on that subject!" Similarly, scoring high on the chance scale is like a lottery. It is crippli
  25. That is so true, BL! Your topics, however, are very rational and consists of a genuine knowledge of what you are capable of controlling. I love it when a person knows the difference between fictional ans rational thinking. You don't get grounded in guilt, manipulation, and expectancies that can mislead your thinking, and the thinking that you arouse in others. Your ability to arouse enthusiasm in others comes from your own understanding of rational thinking. It is the greatest asset you possess. Thank you for replying in honesty, which is based on actual reasoning.
