  1. Would a journalist, who may be still on the square in Cairo Egypt, be afraid to leave, because of the danger of retaliation by thugs? That is the question, now!
  2. I like to think I don't submit to intimidation, but I am not perfect. Not being perfect, it makes me wonder that if I am subjected to intimidation, or even bribery, can I stick to my own belief's, or can someone impose their belief's on me, in some way? Does anyone else feel the same way, about this, as I do?
  3. Intimidation, even at low levels, can be hard for a good Journalist to deal with. It comes in many forms. But, there is also bribery. It is strange, to me, that about the same time the thugs hit he street Journalist's started being attacked. I wonder if these thugs were paid!
  4. You are right, and thanks for your reply, c f s! I am trying to find other stories, besides Mr Coopers. The one above was a good one but it was removed. Let me see if this one works. If it does it's the part about the Journalist's is at about 925 on the scale, and after.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOKCLwC23AQ
  5. Here's a story from FOX News. FOX News Channel's veteran foreign correspondent Greg Palkot and his camerman Olaf Wiig have suffered severe injuries in Cairo while covering the unrest in the Egypt capital. Palkot was badly beaten and Wiig has a possible broken jaw after being attacked by pro-Hosni Mubarak supporters yesterday. Both were hospitalized overnight. Out of concern for the safety of its journalists, Fox News kept the incident a secret until their release from the hospital today. Now more details explaining the network's decision to keep the attack quiet have emerged. Sources at Fo
  6. Thanks for your reply, A E! I tend to disagree with that, however! Every Journalist is only human. From the film I say, he needed to leave, for sure. The Egyptian thugs attacking, and torturing Journalist's from around the World. Many Journalist's, I have listened to, tell the same story. Why would they all be stretching the truth, and the same truth?
  7. After being attacked, in Egypt last week, journalist Anderson Cooper decided to leave. Last Wednesday, Mr. Cooper said, "the crowd set upon us" and that he and his crew were "kicked and punched pretty well … before the mob forced us to seek safety." He added that the crowd was "very violent," with "people looking for a fight." Journalist's face fear and bigotry in many ways, but Mr. Cooper used good judgment in escaping from this kind of the thugs in Egypt. These thugs will continue to use fear to keep the Egyptian hero's (I call them) from leaving the place where they now have unity
  8. You are right, Tt! The only person in the world who can change you is yourself. That guy certainly didn't understand. Going into a relationship wanting someone to change is (DOA) dead on arrival. I'm glad you didn't waste any of your time. I love you just the way you are.
  9. That is great, BL! What if somebody likes it, and they think it will help them! I am not local, and it's to far to travel, but I am asking so that other interested people may know.
  10. Our locus of control creates results in our lives. It's not about who's right or wrong, but it also has nothing to do with the a person luck. It's about taking advantage of opportunities. If your radar isn't scanning for resources and opportunities you may be unlucky, because that's just the way it works. Every little bit helps, and ignoring opportunities to do a little bit better, than you were doing, only helps you to stay where you are. Those with a high internal locus of control have better control of their behavior, tend to exhibit more political behaviors, and are more likely
  11. That was good information, and I understand it very well, Bg! I used to breed dogs, and birds.
  12. Just sayin, H71! I didn't take it that you asked a question.
  13. I've got to be good looking cause I just do what I please, H71. Who cares? I have a lot of people who cares, about me. They are always talking about me, no matter what routine is going on.
  14. Thanks, scjr! In just sewing the movie, I felt like I was in the presents of something Marvelous! It's sad, to me, to think that some people would say it's just a horse race.
  15. LTTP. Observing the behavior of others is my main objective. But, I do have the tendency to wonder if there is a chance I can provide some positive feedback. Nevertheless, I am a little more political than you are, and I know that labels can be attached to you like stink on you know what. That is the reason I stand up, speak out, and talk back, in those situations. I don't just vote; I will debate. With that said, you are very right. You just said, in another way, that " the people who matter don't mind, and the people who mind don't matter." There are people who read, but s
  16. Thanks, dana! But, I'm just sayin!
  17. How come, as much as I love women, the boys seem to love me the most? I say boys, because that's what they act like!
  18. She was lucky, because she would have chosen Big Red, if she had won. I absolutely loved that movie, LL F!
